Kai walked in without and invitation “I’m your mentor Kai you refer to me as no more and no less for it?” She was someone who was serious and didn’t Joe around soemthing she used to mask her pain
((Ya, also you wanna do ash and your mentor at the same time?))“You not going to win the game if you act like that.” She said pulling up a chair
“So you just wanna go in there give up disappoint your folks and die?”Ash got up and answered the door
“My job is to help you win!” Kai said angrily “But with you acting like this you may as well just die and disappoint your family, o know your better than this!”Ash watched and sat down in a chair adjacent to him “I’m Ash”

“First of all stop being stubborn second of all you don’t tell me what to do”Ash nodded “So how did you win your game?”
Kai did to and pushed him back into the seat “I said don’t tel me what to do” she stared at him and Gripped his shoulder “Whtas your weapon?” She asked not letting go of his shoulder Ash nodded knowing she hit a sensitive subject
Kai nodded and let go of his shoulder sitting back down “Same that’s what we’ll work on at the capital
Kai watched “your thinking about yur family aren’t you?” She asked quietly Ash nodded
“Listen I’m not trying to pry I’m trying to get to know you better”Ash nodded and smiled a little at him
“Do you want me to tell you about em first?”Ash laid back ion her bed
“I hate the Capitol as much as you. They took my mother and brother”
Kai nodded “I’m 19 been a victor for 4 years so the math”
“How do you think I felt at 15 in the same position as you knowing my brother had experienced it years before me and my mother died to these people?”
“Stressed and scared but I knew my family wouldn’t have wanted me to Fil, they would have wanted me to fight as hard as I could have win or loose, I want you to do the same” she said standing up “Dinner is in ten” she said leaving and closing the door behind her
Ash did the same and sat across from Jadon sending a small nod at Grayson Kai walked out and sat beside Jadon a nod of acknowledgment
Ash watched as they came out amazed at all the food Kai waited to see if Jason would say anythin

Kai rolled her eyes “I’m this close to throwing you off this train” she said staring at him “And don’t think I won’t” ash watched stifling a laugh
Kai got up too pushing her chair back angrily “Tou need to stop being a baby, your here nothing can change that!” She stood infrint if his though shorter
“I know it’s not easy! How do you think I felt watching my brother get murdered?!! Right infornt of me!” Kai yelled at him angrily
Kai pushed him away and went to her own room slamming the door behind her
