He looked up at his housefolk, who were setting up the mini-nest thing onto the ground around this odd pile of wood. Weird. Out of curiosity, he bounded back over to the wood and sniffed it vigorously, then jumped back every time it would move or make any kind of noise.
Poseidon's ear twitched and he turned his head, staring at the other cat for a moment before letting out an uncharacteristic hiss. He shook his head, then said, "Where are your housefolk? Did they forget you here?" He looked around before creeping close to the bush, tilting his head as he scented her fur. "And why do you smell like that?"Kill her, kill her, kill her! His mind chanted.
Say nothing, His mind ordered. That is a cat not to be trusted. So he just stared while curling his lip slightly.
He let out a small hiss and snarled, "I'm not scared of you. Stay away from me!"
He shook his head angrily. "I told you to stay away from me! This isn't funny!" He started to swipe at her, but then stopped himself: This wasn't normal. But his mouth still ran. "I don't want to do anything to you, because I will! Get out of here, Beetlestar!"
((He could come with. Then burn it from the inside.))
Unnerved, he ignored his own thoughts and answered, "I don't think anything's wrong with me, but...I guess I'll come with." Then, his whiskers drooped. "What about my twolegs? I care about them..." He hesitated. "One of them."
"I...I'll guess i'll come along." He answered.His thoughts were awfully silent now.
*me unnerved because there's nothing here*Poseidon followed after looking back at his twolegs for a moment. The sun was almost blinding his eyes.
"But...that's my 'van'...." He said quietly. Shaking his head, he followed once again.
((*claps slowly*))"I could eat something. Maybe there's that kibble stuff inside of it! Ooohoh! Wow, that would be great."
"Mice? I know what those are. I go down into the basement all the time and hunt them for my twolegs. They don't like it when I show them how I did, though, for some reason." He said sadly.

"No, no I haven't." He answered. "My housefolk would really shame me for doing it, so I never tried."
He tilted his head. Crouching forward, he took a bite of the mouse. Flavor rushed into his mouth and he started eating more and more, excited. "This is amazing!" He cried as the warm mouse blood covered his muzzle.
Poseidon looked through the hole in the wall, and at seeing the dog he seemed to almostlose
control
of
himself.
He wanted to help, but he seemed trapped in his own body. What could he do anyway?
The kittypet looked down at the leader, his eyes clouded. "I don't know what to do!" Something that wasn't him cried.
He-it- let out a wail. "I don't like this!" He scrambled towards her than away from the dog, and once his face was out of sight a grin spread across it. Then, it spoke again. "Are you sure you're going to be ok, Beetlestar?"
Poseidon gasped loudly, startled at being thrown down onto the ground. Was this cat going to save him? How heroic. I wish I could be like that, he thought, noticing his thoughts were now his own. He watched as she ran as fast as she could as the dog followed, snapping at her legs and tail, trying to catch her.((When I see a dog in the wc series I just think " :0 Dobermannnn!"))

Poseidon crouched a ways away, making sure to be out of sight of the dogs-and of the other cats- while waiting fearfully as she ran. He wanted to help, but he was completely useless.

Poseidon, concerned and quiet, walked up to her with a frown at her collapsed figure. He looked at Flickerfoot, hoping they could do something, because he couldn't.
He sat down, curling his tail around his mud-stained paws, looking over her sadly. He looked to Flickerfoot and let out a tiny little sound, similar to a whimper. The dogs had vanished (or so it seemed) but he was so summed up into what happened to Beetlestar he ceased to notice this. "Is...is she ok?" He asked feebly.
"So...she is alright?" He asked hopefully, his tail twitching a bit.Not waiting for an answer, he went on. "I feel like I should come with you guys; She wanted to give me a tour of the place and I want to come to wherever you're going as well as being able to make sure Beetlestar has everything she needs."
He dipped his head, flicking his tail and following with a frown.After a few moments, he spoke. "I'm sooooo excited to see the clan!" He said in an excited voice. He smiled, which was extra wide.
'You know what you have to do, ' his mind told him in a slightly angry/annoyed tone.He camped out a little ways away from where his twolegs were camped out. His mind (amazingly) told him things that he would never have thought of. Fire and burning and the beautiful light it would bring.
But what would he burn down?
Goldenclan.
No! All of it!
"The more we burn, the more gracious light we would bring!" He thought aloud. "Ugh."
So, the plan apparently was, we camp out until nighttime, when his twolegs would most likely start a fire. He would get closer, but only for a few seconds, just enough to light the stick he had brought with him on fire. His own seemingly sentient mind (he started to wonder if other cats had minds of their own) assured him that this would work, and that the clans would praise him for it. They need more light to brighten their ways or maybe there are ats afraid of the dark, he didn't know.
((Ok so just to clarify for y'all, the "light" thingie was poison basically telling him 'yo, since they are all mousedung and are all afraid of the DARK [hehe] they need light at night to make hunting easier and they can sleep well :DDD' ))
Poseidon bolted awake, his body overtaken by a new force. "It's time?" He asked tiredly. As he watched the fire dance and flicker hungrily, he sighed as the-thing-that-wasn't-him moved back into the forest. Nosing around for a dry stick, it found one, picking it up and bringing it back to the tamed flame.Poseidon watched it for a moment as dread let itself into the walls of his mind, laced with fear. He ignored it, stabbing the flame with the stick. The flame snaked up the stick quickly, and he was careful to trot over to the forest-and not to drop it onto his paws-and threw it inside.
A tree erupted into flame, the scorching serpent that was the fire spreading from that tree to others. The smoke was getting heavier, causing him to cough. The dread and fear was stronger now as the leaves on the dirt fell to ashes.
He stepped back, horrified, as more and more burned. He hadn't expected this!
He thought about that more and said, "What did I expect?"
He turned and tried to turn tail, but was stuck there, watching as his mistake condemned many to injury, maybe even death.

Summer was dashing from the forest when she saw Poseidon looking at something. She turned around and saw the smoke, heavy and thick. She saw rhe stick on the ground next to Poseidon. "You're the cat Summerleaf was talking about! What have you done?" she cried.
"I...I don't know..." He murmured.
Summer felt rage burning inside of her. But, she calmed down when Summerleaf told her that he was possessed. She couldn't blame him entirely for what just happened. "We should get back to our twolegs before we get caught up in this" she said. She turned to face Arcticclaw. "And you. You're a Clan cat, right? You should get back to your Clan before they worry about you" she said.
"Look around you. The fire has already started. What do you expect to do with him?" Summer asked
Poseidon stepped back fearfully, ears flat.
"Stop! It's not his fault!" Summer said. "Look, I undertsand that you're angry. I am too, because I have friends in the forest that are in EarthClan. My friend told me that the StormClan medicine cat apprentice had a dream that a possessed cat burned down the forest, and it's real now. The spirit told him to do this, so the spirit is at fault. The spirit got what they wanted. As far as I'm concerned, this cat is no longer a threat" she said.
"I- i'm sorry! I didn't mean...to hurt any cat. Do they hate me now?" He asked while glancing at the warrior.
Summer knew that arguing with Arcticclaw would be pointless. He wouldn't listen to her. She left and went back in the direction of her twoleg nest. She was worried about Mosslight and her children, but she couldn't do anything. She just had to pray that they would all be safe and sound.
He looked down at his paws in shame. Then, he promptly leaped at the warrior, claws extended, a triumphant and bloodthirsty look on his face. He landed on his back, digging thorn-sharp claws into his neck and holding on, using his smaller size to his advantage."You're not going to ruin this for me again," he snarled. "I have waited so long to get back here and I am not going to fail. Even if I have to kill a few cats along the way." It-not him- hissed.
“And your mission,” he said with a chuckle while sliding off of his back, “Is to kill me so I can’t enjoy this glorious sight?” He motioned at the dead forest. “You can’t get me away from this! I won’t let you!”
He frowned at him for a moment before lashing out at his muzzle. “I am no Starclan cat,” he snarled. “Those fox-hearted excuses don’t even know I’m here!” He laughed. “They think I’m still trapped in that place. With Flowerpaw!” He laughed again, his voice loud and unnatural. “She’s dead!” He yowled. “I’m new and I’m living what I’ve always wanted to live! The clans having to bear my wrath. I could never do this in my own body.”
Opalpaw quietly walked in the bushes, peeking her head to see if she could see Arcticclaw or Poseidon. Opalpaw saw Poseidon on Arcticclaw's back. Opalpaw wanted to help, but she was afraid Poseidon would attack her in retaliation. Opalpaw knew that Arcticclaw needed help, though. She ran from bushes, biting at Poseidon's leg. "Get off of him!" she growled.
He shook her off with a snarl, jumping off of him and padding towards her menacingly. “Oh, another one…” he mutters. “Splendid. I need your opinion. How much do you love your new home?” He motioned to the blackened forest with a smile.
Opalpaw growled through her teeth. "It... it was you! I was right this whole time. You caused this!" she said. But, she noticed that Poseidon's voice was different. "You're not Poseidon..." she said. "You're the spirit!" she yowled.
He smiled. “Poisonspirit is my name.”
"Because of you, Lostfang is dead! Because of you, Beetlestar and Flickerfoot might be dead, too! Because of you, all of GoldenClan is destroyed, and many other cats are either injured or dead! How dare you manipulate Poseidon into burning the whole forest?" she said. Her anger was building up almost turning into rage.
He laughed. "Manipulated? Manipulated? He did all of this on his own accord. He was perfectly free to stop himself." He padded around her with a taunting grin. "Maybe he's not as innocent as you thought."
Emberpaw came into view. "You're the cat I dreamed about..."
Opalpaw heard Emberpaw's voice. "Emberpaw, please stay out of this. Go back to BlazeClan. You'll be safer there" she said. She turned to face Poisonspirit. "You got what you wanted. Why are you still here?" she asked.
He dashed forward and pinned her down. “If you think I’m done…if the fire is the last thing that happens to your clans, I have to tell you that you’re terribly mistaken.” He dug his claws into her stomach and then softened. “If only I was like you…oblivious yet still hoping to save everyone.”
Emberpaw nodded. "I'll be back, Opalpaw!" Then she disappeared into the forest.
The gate opened and he bounded out. His paws were met to dry dirt that was a new feeling on his paws. He didn't know if he liked it.
Since his sense of smell wasn't as strong as any other's cats' (do to his pamperedness and not having to deal with any real dangers) so he didn't realize he was being watched as he sniffed the air and understood the scent of new patches of grass and the the green leaves that smelled nice.
