Kimberly | 64 comments I just now see that I am to be a discussion leader however without any notification that this was to happen - it hasn't happened. We need a formal process for all participants to know and understand their role.
I apologize in that I haven't even read the book yet. I've been working on completing my doctorate this month and just finished my paper this past week. As all know who have done this, I needed a few days to recuperate. I am back on track now. Memoirs of Hadrian has been placed on hold and I look forward to reading it and contributing further to this thread about the book - not me and not about group processes.

Hi Kimberley. That's been my fault. I apologize.
Please, feel free to join in whenever you can and if you'd like to.
I do agree with you about the formal process to define everyone's role; in this specific case, there was no official nomination: I just thought that, having you suggested the book that we — or, at least, some of us — are currently reading, you'd certainly like to share your impressions about it and the reasons that have led you to make such a choice, but with no deadline whatsoever.
I'm sorry if I have put you in an uncomfortable position: that wasn't my intention, nor it was to put you under pressure. I'm truly sorry about that (and I'm also sorry because my apologies are not fully expressed in my English as they would be in my mother tongue.).
