There are five large metal bowls in front of your character arranged in a circle. Each bowl has a different substance, each standing for a different faction. Gray stones for Abnegation. Water for Erudite. Earth for Amity. Lit coals for Dauntless. Glass for Candor. A knife rests near the bowls, ready for each participant of the Choosing Ceremony.
