My Hero Academia: The Next Generation discussion

Aston checks the door number again before knocking. He held the bag of what was on his list in his other hand. He hoped he would answer, as it wasn't cheap for the stuff and he hoped he like it.

Cole looked up from his books and stood up and walked over to the door and opened it with slight surprise. "What can I do for you, sir?" He asked as he looked up at him.

Aston held up the bag. "I brought you supplies you might need for the trip- considering your situation." He said, giving him a small genuine smile.

"Oh, thank you. Is there any way I could repay you?" Cole asked him, taking the back with slight hesitation.

"No, don't have to. You're my student and I care about your well-being as long as you participate in my classroom. And are in my class, I will help you to the best of my ability." He pushed the bag to him, his expression a little more open than in class and genuine.

Cole opened his mouth slightly to say something, but closed it as he looked away, eyes watering some. "Thank you, sir."

Aston frowned. "You okay, Cole? Can I do anything else for you?" He leaned down a bit, a little concerned.

"No, I'm fine. You just caught me abit off guard by saying that is all." Cole explained, looking back at him.

"Oh, well if you ever need anything, ask. Anytime. I can always find time to make sure you have it." He promised, giving him another tiny smile.

"Oh I'm fine sir, really. It shouldn't be a problem. After all, you're my teacher, isn't it somewhat weird buying things for your students?" Cole questioned with a raised eyebrow.

Aston frowned. "No, of course not. It's my job to make sure you have what you need to get a good education. Not to mention your situation, you also need things that you can't get on your own. It's not weird for me to buy things." He crossed his arms a bit.

"Well I can get most everything I need." Cole said, walking over to his desk and placing the bag down ontop of it. "My situation may be different then others, but I'm still doing fine over all. U.A's janitors get paid well, so it isn't too hard to get what I need." He said, walking back over to his door.

Aston frowned then nodded. "Understandable, but things aren't cheap and you deserve to live as a teenager too. Don't forget that, Cole." He looked at him a bit.

Cole gave a shrug. "I'm fine with life right now."

Aston gave him a look. "I'm sure, as it's what you find comfortable, but again. It might now seem so much now, but you'll wanna make the best of what you can have at this age. As cliche as it sounds, it's true." He explained, putting his hands in his pockets.

“Sir, this is going to be the best that I have at this age. I don’t like talking to other people, I’m fine working, and I just want to go through school without bother.” Cole spoke with another small shrug.

Aston blinked. "Again, Cole. That is what I can help with as well." He glanced around the room, taking in small details.

Coles’s head just tilted to the side slightly. “As much as I appreciate your concern, I really am fine.”

Aston looked at him. "As I can see. You need anything though, anything at all, let me know."

Cole nodded. “Thank you, again, for the help.”

Aston gave him another small smile. "Of course." He gave him a nod. "See you later, Cole.

(What if Cole's car broke down. o.o)

“Goodbye, sir.” He said before shutting his door.
(I was thinking Aston could catch him trying to drive somewhere, since he’s not of age for that)

(Yes, I saw YES. You start this time hehe)

Aston had decided to walk Cole to his dorm, a bit concerned for him after what happened. When the reached his dorm door Aston put a hand on Cole's shoulder. "Are you sure your alright?" He gave him a look.

Cole looked back at him and nodded. “I will be, yes.” He said, feeling he should at least be honest to a fault.

"What do you mean by that?" He asked genuinely.

“...I haven’t seen him in three years, so I’m shooken up by it.” He admitted with a sigh. “I’ll see you on Saturday. And thank you, again.”

Aston let go of his shoulder and nodded. "You're welcome. And I'm sorry. You didn't deserve that." He mumbled, "I'll see you Saturday." He ghosted his hand over Cole's head to rustle his hair a bit before walking off to his car.

Cole flinched at the small sign of affection and hummed with a nod. He went into his dorm.

(Baseball field? Hehe.)

Aston pulled up and parked, walking with Cole to his dorm.

"You know you don't have to walk me to my dorm everytime, right?" Cole said as they walked.

"No, but, after your uncle's stunt, I don't trust it." He said honestly

He tensed at the mention, but didn't say anything.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to bring it up, but you know what I mean." He said.

"Yes, I do. You're fine" He said quietly, stopping at his dorm door. "Goodbye sir, I'll see you Saturday"

"Cole?" He asked, raising a brow.

"Right, Aston, sorry." Cole apologized, looking up at him.

Aston let out a small chuckle. "No need to apologize. Just trying to break a habit."

Cole hummed and shrugged. “I just don’t see much point in me calling you by your first name. Even in America it was Mr/Ms/Mrs. and then their last name.”

Aston looked at him. "Some American teachers allow their first name. Especially out of school. See it that way."

“Eh, I still don’t find a point in it. Besides, if I get adjusted to calling you Aston, when summer ends and class is back, I’ll just have to adjust back to Mr.Starkhan, sir, ect.” Cole explain his views.

"Aston is fine in class as well. If you prefer. I have a question though." Aston asked.

Cole fought back an eye roll and settled with a sigh. “What is it?”

"Where did your uncle get custody, in America, here, or was it made official in both?" He asked.

“America. I don’t think he ever done any paper work for custody with me here.” Cole replied, head tilting to the side in question. “Why do you ask?”

"Hm, just curious. So it's official there but not here." He mumbled the last part.

Cole just blinked, but shrugged. “I’ll see you next weekend, goodbye.” He said, opening his door to go in.
