I’m in! Have been trying to read more Jane Austen over the last two years and have enjoyed all that I have read so far. I don’t know anything about the story, but am looking forward to finding out. Then likely checking out the Netflix version as well.
I bought a collection box with most/all of Austen's books, so I'm slowly making my way through the ones I hadn't read before. Persuasion is one of them. I'm curious to see where it will fall in my Austen rankings lol, I doubt it will top Pride and Prejudice but I feel (hope) I'll enjoy it more than Emma (Mansfield Park and Sense and Sensibilty are between them)
I recently completed the last of Jane Austin’s novels. Pride & Prejudice will always be my favorite but Persuasion is a high second. I enjoyed it a lot.
This is my favorite Austen novel. It's been years since I had last read it, and should be able to start it next week. I'm pleased that I got a hold of an annotated edition - Robert Morrison's Persuasion: An Annotated Edition
Finished it last week and really enjoyed. Here is my full review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
