Shark Week discussion

Our group read is scheduled to start July 17. (And tv's Shark Week 2022 officially begins July 24.) We'll be reading Close to Shore: The Terrifying Shark Attacks of 1916. No spoilers on any chapters here please. Are you planning to read the book?

I'm gonna read a couple of book first and will wait to read this one for a bit - not only because Shark Week hasn't started yet, but also because I'm usually one of the faster readers and I don't wanna finish before anyone has even started. *lol*

And I‘m not planning to read this.

I'm confused. Are we starting this on the 17th or the 24th? I made a note that we start on the 17th but I may have missed some comments.

Shark Week starts July 24 but I scheduled the group read to start July 17 considering some of us may need more than one week to finish reading it.

I am not sure if I'll be able to join the group in reading this book; I thought the local library had a copy and I was wrong. I'll see if I can find a cheap used copy to buy if possible

Or you can ask about an inter-library loan!
