Stranger Things Role-Play discussion

Eleven sat on one of the benches in the center of the mall, looking around absentmindedly. Her eyes averted over to the first few stores she'd ever been in, and a small smile crawled onto her face.
After all that's happened, there was finally a bit of peace.
Ish. For the most part.
A few kids ran past with ice cream in their hands and they yelled loudly at each other, laughing happily.
Eleven fiddled with her topwear, kicking the air without saying a word. Her smile had faded as she looked at the ground.

El looked up when she heard Max's voice. Looking over at her, she returned the smile. “Nothing much. Sitting.”
She paused, then added, “Getting away from Mike for a while. What about you?”
Her gaze flickered onto Max's skateboard momentarily.

Eleven beamed. “Yes! Lets go get icecream!” She elbowed Max back in a playful, friendly manner and sat up.

((You can if you want. It is your group, after all. XD))

Eleven ran after her, gripping Max's hand. When they got to the counter, El scanned the options and thought for a moment.
“What are you getting?” She asked, tilting her head slightly.

((PFFFT- that happens to me, too, sometimes. No worries. XDDD

OHMYGOSH I SHOULD GO TO BASKIN ROBINS BECAUSE THEY HAVE ST THEMED ICECREAM! AHHHHH I NEED TO DO THAT EVENTUALLY- XD))

“I think I'll just get a strawberry cone,” El responded. She looked at the bell and pressed it a few times too many.

((Oh, you poor soul! xP
I have a Baskin Robins about....eh, 4 to 15 miles away? I don't keep track, lol.))

El grinned, then looked at Steve and simply smirked wider. “Strawberry, please.”

((We only have one Dairy Queen here so the line goes out into the road, and if you go there at like, 7PM, the workers are grouchy- :'3))

“Cone.” El finished, standing up straight. Then she looked at Max.
“If we don't get a free discount, I think I'll have to sue the mall.” She whispered loudly, giggling.

((I know, right?! That's what I say, on-point, everytime we pull up. XD
Like, one time I had a free icecream ticket because I went to the eye doctor, and they went quiet for a moment and sounded agitated when they said to pull up to the window. xD))

“It's not babysitting,” El replied. “If you choose to do it without having to. And we can handle ourselves just fine.” She stated as she grabbed the cone, licking the icecream on top.

I also never understand the whole, "lEtS tIp yOuR bLizZaRd uPsIdE dOwN anD sEe If iTs sAfE tO gIvE yOu" thing.

“What would we ever do without Steve Harrington?” Eleven pouted before giggling again. She grabbed Max by the hand and quickly ran out before he could respond.

((Hmm, true, true.
Oh, yes! They just recently opened a new Culver's where I am. Plus there was one in Wisconsin. :3))

Eleven sat down next to Max, having heard Steve yell on the way out, she couldn't control her laughter. She had to cover her mouth in order to stiffle it.

At last, El managed to calm down. “Yeah, sure! That'd be fun!”

((Why are we talking about food again?.. xD))

Eleven finished her icecream as well and brushed off any crumbs once she stood up.
“Ready when you are!”

((Oh, yeah. XD))

Eleven followed, walking next to her. Something caught her eye and she looked over in its direction. “You keep looking, I'm gonna go try something on.”

Eleven walked away, grabbed the dresswear, and headed to the changing room. Once she came out, she went over to Max and asked, “How does this look?”
The outfit she had put on was a dark blue with a few bits of yellow fabric and a little bit of a brighter blue fabric.

El nodded and went back to the changing room's, coming back out shortly after.
“Have you found anything yet?” She decided to ask once she reached Max again.

El returned the smile. “Thank you, Max. I can help you look if you'd like?” She offered.

She walked over to the opposite side and started searching, occassionally taking a look through other things before heading back over.
