Emissary Book Bar discussion

Not optimal. First of all, Saturday all day, it rained. I love the rain. But as street server this meant I organized the milk lair. And got paid 10$. Then, having nowhere to be, I decided to read outside @P2. Very mid experience. The rain wasn’t a problemmmm because I love the rain and Nat gave me her cute Louis Hoffman in Dark vibes yellow raincoat. The biggest problem is you’re right by the door and everyone is walking in and out and it is very distracting and you don’t look mysterious when you’re looking at everyone walking in ….. these two people ran into each other and were talking for like 20 minutes and did I eavesdrop for the whole thing YES because by the time I was annoyed it felt too passive aggressive to put my headphones in. Funny cause I guess in college this girls apartment or whatever had some problem (lawsuit is still ongoing) so for 5 weeks she had to stay in hotels / couch surf before taking her finals at her moms in upstate New York and I was like girl SAME and made me feel better that other people have to couch surf sometimes too.
