Chapter One - The Ultrasound
Honestly it's kinda weird to me how a literal director of a clinic has never seen an actual procedure done. Of course, you choose directors based on how well they... well, direct, so they don't have to medically trained and can just be good with people and organising.

To my knowledge, we’d never done ultrasound-guided abortions at our facility. We did abortions only every other Saturday, and the assigned goal from our Planned Parenthood affiliate was to perform twenty-five to thirty-five procedures on those days.
Wow that's a lot. The whole "killing babies" thing aside, that's also just a lot of operations to do in one day. (Although maybe that's normal for a clinic, I don't know.)

Our typical procedure took about ten minutes, but an ultrasound added about five minutes, and when you’re trying to schedule up to thirty-five abortions in a day, those extra
minutes add up. See? That's a really busy day.

Wow that was intense.

Honestly imagine finding out that all the work you've done that you honestly thought was good was actually destroying lives. I'd be crushed.

Is anyone else reading this lol? I read it and I'd love to discuss it cause I'm hearing a lot of different opinions. For example, some people are saying she lied. Does anyone know anything about that?

I haven't read the book yet. I've only watched the movie. So i can't say much about it. Sorry. 🤔
