I have a few for you. You can try these:Thresher
Lords of the Deep
Subterrestrial
Night Of The Kraken
SCAR: A Deep Sea Thriller
Loch Ness Revenge
We should all be reading aquatic horror for the summer reading challenge. I'll include some I read (listened to) previously also.
The House Across the Lake
My Heart Is a Chainsaw
Salvage: A Ghost Story
Into the Drowning Deep That's all I can remember for now. I plan to read more this summer.

I loved Into the Drowing Deep!
My Heart is a Chainsaw was so-so for me. I really enjoyed some parts but other parts kind of dragged. I LOVED the intro though.

The Deep"This was a good one. Took some unexpected turns for sure and kept me on my toes.
I really enjoyed Cutter's The Troop. You should check it out if you haven't already.

I have not, but it's on my list.
Kronos Rising by Max HawthorneI love aquatic horror and this book delivers on all angles. I highly recommend this book.

Dark Across The Bay by Ania Ahlborn
The aquatic element serves as the main tool of isolation in this island thriller.

I loved this one!
The Montauk Monster by Hunter SheaThis is one of my very favorite stories. Hunter Shea has written several horror novels based on famous creature legends. Montauk is at the southern tip of Long Island in the Hamptons. Off the coast is a small Island notorious for being a scientific research base creating mutations. A strange aquatic creature had washed up on the shores of Montauk said to have escaped. There are several pics of it abpnd its body has made the rounds.

It is a book to love.
here's a question to you beautiful people. is there an aquatic series with regular characters? I need something to literally sink my teeth into for the long run lol
The Clickers series by J.F. Gonzalez
Jesus is your saviour. I think the first Clickers novel was pretty standalone, but after the second volume, it had recurring characters.
The first thing that comes to mind is the "MEG" series by Steve Alten. It runs for seven books, and the recurring character is a paleobiologist named Jonas Taylor.

Our Wives Under the SeaI don't think anyone mentioned this book yet. I just finished it and it was a pretty good debut novel. Definitely very aquatic.
Terror in the Trench: An Anthology of Aquatic HorrorA collection of aquatic horror short stories that I read recently
Y'all, I'm currently reading the Blackwater series by Michael McDowell and it is outstanding! The Flood is the first book in the series.
I just finished
- doesn't take place in the water but there is creepy aquatic imagery!A few others I've really enjoyed:
- aquatic adjacent, set on an island!
The PikeThis was almost turned into a movie with Joan Collins back in the '80s. They built a pretty impressive mechanical pike.
Into the Drowning Deep by Mira GrantI have a literal fear of the open ocean so this one hit home for me. Mystery and possible aquatic intelligence sign me up.
The story itself had a great overall pacing, recommend.
(On a Ship or Under the Ocean) * Dead Sea by Tim Curran
* Pressure by Brian Keene
* Succulina by Philip Fracassi
* Cenote by Shaun Horton
* Into The Drowning Deep by Mira Grant
( Island/Beach Horror )
* Savages by Greg F. Gifune
* Relict by D.T. Neal
* The Forgotten Island by David Sodergren
* Lure by Tim McGregor
* Black Tide by K.C. Jones
* Reek by Bradley Freeman
* Cannibal Creator by Chad Lutzke
* The Survivors by Matthew Vaughn
I'm so excited for this month's picks! I LITERALLY added Our Wives Under the Sea yesterday and checked my notifications today to see it on there! I also have a phobia of water.. so this should be good.
From Below by Darcy Coates (I think this was mentioned earlier but no link. Pretty good.Deck Z: The Titanic: Unsinkable. Undead.. This rocked. The Titanic and zombies, I am there!
