Booktok 📚 discussion

Hello everyone, I am not sure whether I should read Conversations With Friends because of all the mixed reviews of this book and I just wanted to hear what you all have to say about it :) You can also tell me about Normal People too since it also has mixed reviews and I don't know if I should read it either.

please help, I really don't know whether I should read it or not. The youtubers that I watch that have similar tastes to me and they have differing opinions.

tbh i don’t like sally rooneys writing. idk how I read normal people it’s just about two people going back and forth on having s€X and there really was not plot point.

i have never read any sally rooney books. but, i recommend u to read it yourself to determine if it actually good or not. i have so much of fav booktubers that i used to rely on their reviews or recommendations. and there was one time i read a recommended book from my fav booktuber, and it really has put me in the biggest reading slump! since that time i just read whatever what im feeling like to read.

Oh okay, thank you! It's just that I was afraid that it would put me in a reading slump, I'll will add it to my tbr :)
