Ledger and Kenna keep the beginnings of their attraction to each other a secret from most other people. Do you feel this was the only way to handle things? Was it the best way?

I really felt for Kenna in this, her letters were so heartbreaking. And to think she had noone close to help her over the years. Love that Ledger could see through it and open his heart for her!

My heart aches for Kenna throughout the series. Mainly due to lack of resources and support. I did feel that the attraction/relationship could and should have been stated earlier on in the book but I get the authors mindset to write it as is.
