this is veryyyy much up my alley. i've cackled three or four times so far and i'm only on chapter 4. the only thing i don't care for rn is the pregnant sister but that is literally my issue. nothing wrong with her character lol (altho tbh if u have 2 kids at home and one on the way, how are u allowed to just go on a month long getaway and leave your husband with all that mess and no one complains?? i don't think i could enjoy myself from guilt if i were in her shoes. it's literally not about her tho so --tangent over.)

this is like the most intense HAAAAATE to love i've experienced. BUT their banter is CHEF'S KISS MUAH MUAH. i am all here for it.

love the main character too. she's a bitch but she's real.

i like that it follows the rom com tropes while being meta about it and poking fun at it while still literally doing it anyway.

What, like saying, "So this is the part where we have our Meet Cute," and the other one says "Yep," and then they have it?

the mcs are in the book publishing world. so yeah she is aware of what the tropes are and points them out as they happen irl lol

Well then they should want to follow all of those tropes to the letter, because it guarantees them a happy ending!
