I already mentioned Girls Gone By Publishers in the group description (I owe them a debt - I realised that it's possible even for small* enterprises to make a go at it by purchase of publication rights and modest sales to recuperate that investment). *and I do mean small - a vicar, a friend, a single desktop computer and a cottage in Somerset! Hooray for the underdogs of the publishing world!
Girls Gone By Publishers:

Another small-scale publisher I have come across is For Pity Sake Publishing in Australia, as they have reprinted 3 Bettina Ehrlich titles, and bought the rights for a further 3 (I'm still anxiously awaiting those other three! C'mon!). https://www.forpitysake.com.au/
Unlike GGBP, these guys DO do ebooks as well.

Greyladies I knew, but I think they only picked up her adult stuff, right?

Ah, nice! Thanks for this link!

Ronald Welch also seems well represented

Abigail (abigailadams26) | 44 comments I love Girls Gone By, and own MANY of their editions. I also have a few books from Greyladies, and own Slightly Foxed's complete set of Ronald Welch "Carey Family" novels. I am currently on the 12th book in the series, and highly recommend it!

I had not heard of "For Pity Sake Publishing," and will have to take a look at them.

Other publishers to consider in this vein, from the UK, are:

Bettany Press (http://www.bettanypress.co.uk/)

Fidra Books (http://www.fidrabooks.com/)

Books to Treasure (https://bookstotreasure.co.uk/)

Margin Notes Books (http://www.marginnotesbooks.com/)
(alas, they don't seem to be in business any more)

Two other UK publishers I think might be of interest, not because they republish out-of-print English books, but because they make books from other countries (some of them classics) available in English for the first time (or the first time in a while), are:

Pushkin Press (https://pushkinpress.com/our-books/?g...)

Floris Books (https://www.florisbooks.co.uk/index.php)

Although, come to think of it, I do believe Floris Books has reprinted some Kathleen Fidler.

Abigail (abigailadams26) | 44 comments In the United States, some publishers to consider include:

Image Cascade Publishing (https://imagecascade.com/)

They reprint vintage American girls's series, mostly from the 1940s, 50s and 60s, although they have a few from before and after these decades. They've reprinted many of the "malt shop novels" that fans desire.

Applewood Books (https://www.applewoodbooks.com/)

They have reprinted original editions of some of the most famous American children's series, such as Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys. Books whose current editions contain the expurgated 1950s versions, which were shortened and changed. They've also reprinted other series books, including the "Little Maid" series.

Purple House Press (https://www.purplehousepress.com/)

They reprint both out-of-print children's novels and picture-books, in a wide variety of genres.

Oh Abigail, these are GREAT! :D Thanks so much! I think I only knew Fidra.

Wonderful! Maybe we can make contact with them and let them know which authors and titles we're interested in... :)
