I will get to this series as soon as I finish the Hell's Belles books which should be sometime in the next week.

Sounds good with me. I'm reading the Fairy Tales series by Eloisa James right now as well as trying to get through The Ravenels series before I started another one.

I'm loving the banter between Felicity and Devil so far. Their bargain is sure to come back to bite one of them. There's no way they both manage to get what they want.

The relationship between the brothers is interesting. I wonder how far they're going to take things.

Felicity is going to destroy Devil. She just keeps working her way past his defenses. I love how jealous he gets of anyone that comes near her.

I'm still intrigued that the duke has accepted the engagement. It's odd.

Felicity's lockpicking skills are quite unique and I love how much she enjoys it. Also, I love how much Devil loves that she does it.

I'm quite irritated with Felicity's family for the way they're ready to sell her off. Jerks, the lot of them.

I love these two together. Felicity challenges Devil in a way that no one else does and he sees her for who she really is.

I'm curious how Devil will get Felicity out of the situation he's put her in.

I love that Felicity decked the duke for what he'd done. I also thought the way she tore into Devil for his part was fantastic.

Felicity being the one to rescue Devil after Ewan locked him in the ice hold was great.

I'll be picking up book 2 later this week most likely. I have other buddy reads I need to get to before I can.

I'm probably going to start this one this weekend. I have a couple of ARCs and library books I'm going to get to. If not, I'll start the first book on Tuesday.

I loved Hattie and Whit's first meeting. The banter between them was great and I loved that she continually surprised him.

Their meeting at Dahlia's place was even better.

I don't think Whit realizes just what he's in for with Hattie. She's not what he's going to expect.

I love that Hattie stood up to Ewan. She's right that there's no past between them so nothing would stop her from going after him if he hurt Whit or Devil.

Hattie and Whit are so good together, I think I liked their romance even more than Felicity and Devil's.

Chapter 1 - 5: (view spoiler)[ Wow the angst between the two main characters is to die for but Devil is going to facilitate the match between Ewan and Felicity so it would be interesting to find out how come these two will fall in love. I liked all 3 brothers but definitely Devil the most lol, the dynamics between them is hella stressful though. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 6 - 12: (view spoiler)[I feel like this is moving painfully slow but in a good way yk? I am so rooting for the Devil and Felicity to come together asap. Ewan is charming in his own way ngl but the chemistry between Devil and Felicity is something else. I don’t want him to betray her at all, i hope he realises that he shouldn’t (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 13 - 18 : (view spoiler)[OH MY GOD!!! This book is insane and I AM IN LOVE WITH IT, Felicity and Devil have just become one of my favourite couples of all times, the sexual tension between them is driving me crazy and when Devil asks her who is your moth and she replies with “YOU” - i fucking died. Chapter 19 - 23 : (view spoiler)[I don’t blame Felicity at all for not wanting to rescue her family from the situation they are in, doesn’t look like they care about her at all. Devil on the other hand, all he does is care about her and I love that. Their night together was super amazing and now I am just waiting for him to say the words back to Felicity! Finished: (view spoiler)[Way to go Felicity, hitting tje duke was badass, I can’t believe Ewan would just leave Devil like that to die. Arthur apologising to Felicity for treating her the way he did was nice. I liked that Felicity took charge towards the end. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 1-7: (view spoiler)[It was a bit difficult at first to follow what was happening in the book considering we didn’t know Hattie at all but once she meets August and more details about her family and business are revealed, now it’s starting to make sense. The chemistry is undeniably strong between her and Beast but they are enemies so it would be very interesting to see the power play between them (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 8-12: (view spoiler)[Hattie is s fearless and determined woman both of which I admire greatly and Nora is definitely the friend everyone needs in their life. Whit is as charming as ever and their whole conversation at the tavern was next level good. I enjoyed it immensely. Devil teasing the Beast was hilarious as well (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 13-17: (view spoiler)[I was not expecting Ewan to be so ruthless and I am not even sure now that I want to read his book or not. Looks like he is just obsessed with Grace rather than being in love with her and I am kinda scared of him ngl. Not cool of him to force Beast to act this way with Hattie in order to protect her from his clutches (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 18-22: (view spoiler)[I am kind of getting emotional reading about Whit’s past, even though all of this was already revealed in book 1, something about hearing it from Whit himself was very painful and my heart went out for him. Hattie’s reaction to it all made me respect her even more. I wish she was this confident about herself as well (hide spoiler)]

Finished: (view spoiler)[Hattie is an absolute badass and i loved her throughout this book. The way she stands up against Ewan after the explosion just goes to show that she is not just words but her actions speak of bravery too. Whit melting down and confessing his love for Hattie was too darn sweet. I loved them together and the epilogue put a smile on my face (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 1-6: (view spoiler)[I am not very excited about the idea of a romance between Grace and Ewan. Grace no doubt is a strong character, independent and ruthless but her with Ewan is something I can’t even comprehend. Ewan has built himself such a negative image in my head for the past 2 books that I am finding it difficult sympathising with him for even a second (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 7-11: (view spoiler)[I am finding it so difficult to understand Grace and Ewan’s love honestly, it just doesn’t feel believable enough. I have no idea how these Bareknuckle bastards would find it in themselves to forgive Ewan. Though looking at what happened in the past through Ewan’s eyes is clearing up a few bits and helping me understand him better as a character (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 12-18: (view spoiler)[Still not feeling it, i mean the smut is hot and all but I can’t get over Ewan’s bully nature. There’s no doubt now that he did what he did in order to save them all but still it was harsh and cruel and I am not feeling very benevolent towards him, that’s all (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 19-22: (view spoiler)[I can’t believe even Devil and Whit are thinking about forgiving Ewan already, i thought it would be the biggest hurdle in his and Grace’s relationship to convince his brothers to accept them together. Well good for them I suppose. I am very curious to find out what happened that night in Ewan’s own words (hide spoiler)]

Finished: (view spoiler)[i must say that redeeming arc for Ewan single handedly turned this book around for me. I was not expecting him to give up the whole dukedom this way in order to be with Grace peacefully and it was the sweetest thing he could have possibly done. Their father was a horrible person and do not for a second mourn his death (hide spoiler)]

I've gotten so behind. I'm going to finish up the Cold-Hearted Rake series, then read this one since I own the physical books.

Yeah I still need to read book 3 for this one but I'm going to try and finish off some others first.

I'm not sure how I'm going to feel about this book. I love Grace but I don't like that Ewan is her match. I can't see how the author can redeem him for everything he's done.

I like the scene at the end there where the ladies from the Hell's Belles series showed up.

I am not enjoying this one. I don't like Ewan and I don't think he deserves forgiveness for all the horrible stuff he did. It's a shame as I really like Grace's character although when it comes to Ewan she turns into an idiot.

Ewan giving up the dukedom for Grace was a nice gesture but I just didn't care by that point. I hated this book which was a shame as the first two in the series are two of my all time favorite historical romances.
