I'm going to read a non-fiction book called Weapons of Math Destruction. If anyone is still looking for a book a lot of cozy mysteries have titles that are a play on words so you could check out one of those.

I read Liv Forever by Amy Talkington. It was an ok read, that I could finish quickly. A little anti-climatic though.

1) A Slice of Heaven by Sherryl Woods; (Narr.) Lauren Ezzo

2) CHALLENGE COMPLETE

3) I’m enjoying seeing the differences in the books compared to the tv show. I’m liking Ronnie in the book and show. I understand why, but I wish it didn’t take Dana Sue so long to give in to her feelings and allow forgiveness to push her forward.

I read Dog On It by Spencer Quinn. This is the first in a series of books about a private investigator and his dog. Most of the titles contain puns and I originally was going to pick a different title but research recommended starting at the beginning. This was a cute novel. Chet the dog is the narrator of the series and that made for an interesting choice. There are times when Chet falls asleep or is distracted in the middle of a conversation. There are also a few moments of extreme tension which had me on edge for a bit. Story was fine but I don't think I will read anything else in this series. I think I might have enjoyed this more in middle school or high school.

I read The Hating Game by Sally Thorne. While I found the main characters substantially likeable, I was profoundly irritated by their overall childishness. I wanted to love the whole reading experience, but some of my brain cells ceased to function after having finished this novel… 2/5 stars from me

The Catte, the Ratte, and Lovell our Dogge, Rule all England Under the Hogge.

Cecil Huston | 240 comments Read Under Lying by Janelle Harris. Gave it a 4, but more like 3.5. A major twist in the middle of the book, had a hard time actually feeling sorry for most of the characters. But interesting how it turned out, just didn't feel this was as good as hoped.

Tanya Kelly-Hadley | 10 comments Read "How Not to Drown in A Glass of Water" by Angie Cruz. 4.5 stars - it was good and I like the writting style, I really felt like the charatcter was right in front of me. Like I was talking to one of my elder relatives.
