Description:Ten years ago, I risked everything on a nameless boy. I came out the other side with a murder conviction, a prison sentence, and a minor case of amnesia.

I forgot everything about that boy, and now I'm out on parole, just a nobody witch volunteering at an animal rescue and keeping a low profile. Everything was fine until the notorious Crystal Druid showed up to hunt a powerful fae that's leaving a trail of dead bodies in its wake—bodies that the local ex-con, me, will be blamed for.

To save my own hide, I offer to help him. But with every clash of temper between us, something inside me cracks a little more. The closer we get to our target—and the closer I get to the guarded Crystal Druid—the more my missing memories loom.

The fae killer is far deadlier than I imagined—but so is the boy I forgot. And the only question now is which one will destroy me first.

I didn't either! I was just looking up to make sure it was the same Zak as the other books. I didn't realize there were so many in that same universe.

I was wondering the same thing. I like that we get to know more about him. I liked him in the other series. I like Saber.

Would you want to read the other books in the series?

I probably would. We can read this series and then go back and read the other two since we're already out of order. Maybe take a break between each series so we don't get bored with them, lol?

Finished. I enjoyed it. I like Sabar. Holy Moly! That ending was something! The flashbacks were confusing at first. (view spoiler)[It was interesting to see the connection between Sabar and Zak. What really happened? Hopefully we will find out in next book. So didn't see that ending coming. Sabar a druid and her Fae companion a Fae King. WTH! How did that happen? (hide spoiler)] I will be excited to read the next one. I have it on hold but it will be a while. My library says it will be 14 weeks. Does your library have it?

Finished. I enjoyed it, too. I like Saber, too. I love Zak and hope we get to see more of him... but what happened between them!? And who exactly is the Winter King?

My library doesn't have any of this book series! My library has a long wait time for The Four Winds. Any other standalones you want to read while we're waiting?

I was thinking the same thing...what happened between them and why couldn't either of them remember? Who is the Winter King? Who knew Saber was a Druid? I thought only men could be Druids?
