Christina Okay okay, I am going with Pride by Ibi Zoboi. Maybe this more modern spin will work, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve attempted some of Jane Austen books and just couldn’t wrap my head around the language to continue and finish them.

Rebekah Gernhard (bekahgern) I read Being Mary Bennett by JC Peterson! a cute YA coming of age Pride and Prejudice themed story.

Kelly Green Hicks (kelly's bookish world) Olivia chose that one to read. I hope that it is good!

Christina It was an easy listen for sure. I wasn’t sure where the story was going but it was alright. Just wish I knew who bought the building at the end. Lol. I was waiting for a twist and for it to be the Darcy family.

Brynn I chose Dear Mr. knightley. Enjoying it so far!

Sara Kreps Emma and the vampires was meh. Emma is my second favorite Austen book and this didn't slaughter it like pride and prejudice and zombies. the author made Harriet out to be obese, not just plump, apparently every man in town except Emma's father is a vampire, and I never knew if Emma knew that or not, which bugged me most. if she didn't, she wasn't just spoiled but had an IQ that matched her waist. not very satisfying but at least the author didn't try to include the full original text.
