These are the two that I can think of off of the top of my head. I heard that a little life was also really sad but I’ve never read it. Anyway the song of Achilles literally broke me. I don’t think I can ever read it again because I’m not ready for that kind of pain.
EVELYN HUGOIT ENDS WITH US

IDKKK
The Song Of Achilles, is what I get into mind. (I don‘t cry over books or movies as kuch, my friends always think I‘m heartless)
i'm autistic and don't really get emotional over literature. that being said, i've cried over: meet me in paradise, five feet apart (not really cried that much, but some did), currently reading all the bright places and it's made me cry
i’ve heard a little life is really sad. i think i’m gonna wait to read it over christmas break so i don’t sob in the middle class. :)
Goodbye days, it’s super good and I cried 4 times. It would have been 5 if I hadn’t been around my family
the fault in our stars
i was a shell of emptiness the first time i read it but the reread made me start crying hysterically
oh also song of achilles, that bitch made me cry in a plane and ppl were giving me dirty looks for crying too loudly

Drew (Cardan's version)✨ wrote: "both of those books are really problematic rina ^ T.T my fav sobfest is the seven husbands of Evelyn hugo"really? why?
oh nooo i actually remember why eleanor and park is problematic (lol just did some googling) sorry :/
yeah Eleanor and park has bad Asian rep and all the bright places slut shames and objectified women, with bad poc rep and both of them have no queer rep lol
I don't have my book with me but this is a great review here that shows quotes like:“Bren hates all girls who aren’t at least a size twelve.”
“Amanda’s father owns a chain of liquor stores, which is one of the reasons she’s so popular. That and the fact that she puts out.”
"Too many high school girls are built like boys."
the review also covers the bad mental health and poc rep :)
