Sean met with Mona Hill but failed to tell Lucy what he was doing. He said he wanted to protect her. What was he thinking and why did he feel the need to protect her?

Robin (robinmy) | 2478 comments I don't get how he was "protecting" Lucy by not telling her about the meeting with Mona. It felt more like he knew Lucy couldn't stand Mona and didn't want to mention the meeting with her until he was sure he was taking the case. He knew Lucy wouldn't like him helping Mona with anything.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1215 comments I'm with you, Robin. Sean was thinking the "surface" issue, but he was not transparent with Lucy -- trouble every time!

I agree with Robin, also. This was such a bad move on Sean’s part. He gambled and lost.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2991 comments With the release of Elise, Lucy was uneasy. Lucy really didn't like Mona at all and the fact that Sean had even limited contact with her made Lucy angry. Sean wanted to see what Mona wanted before he told Lucy anything. Was that the right decision? Probably not, but I didn't think it was that big a deal.

It made him look like he had something to hide.
