I don’t like audiobooks bc it’s distracting and I can’t go at my speed

I tried that once but it got annoying because I read faster than the narrator XD

The narrator reads so slowly, but my Language Arts teachers always make me do it. :(
I’m usually halfway through the book when the rest of the class is on paragraph 17. And I mean a regular book. Not one of the small texts in the textbooks.

Does anyone else read a book series even tho it‘s not really good, but you just can‘t not read it? Like u want to know what happens next even tho it‘s really bad? Haha

Nope, I never have. If something is too bad, I just stop lol

I kinda do the opposite sometimes, and like, I need to stop. I will read the first book in a series (really like it) then go yep I'm satisfied and just never read the rest lol

I do sometimes, but mainly I just read the book. But I absolutely cannot listen to just an audiobook, without the book in front of me to follow along.
