The Academy For Mythical Creatures discussion

Er....she was sort of walking. Occasionally she'd sace out for a second, only to realize her uncooperative new body was trying to float up to the ceiling.
"ARGH, WHY WON'T YOU JUST LAY OFF!?" She shouted down at herself. Seriously though, why did EVERYTHING take so much freaking concentration?
She growled quietly and tried to punch a locker....
....only to frown in irritation as her hand went right through it.
"SON OF A-!" She snarled and tried to kick the wall, but her foot missed and went airborne, sending the rest of her up as well. She glared at nothing, skulking in midair.
"I flipping hate this."

There was a terrifying, bone-chilling crack right next to Akina as a long serpent-like dragon appeared next to her. The body could not be seen until with another unsettling crack, the beast turned half-human, staring at Akina with its blank eyes.
“Someone’s having a bit of trouble.” They cackled, and each time they spoke their mouth would glow either dimmer or brighter. Then they kicked the locker she had tried to punch deviously.

Also....what was with the glowing mouth?
"Pfffft- me? Having trouble? What lamebrain told you that? I'm getting along just fine being a ghost," she sniffed.

Azvameth stared at her for a while, considering this input before they shrugged. “Nobody did. I merely assumed, due to the fact,” it motioned towards her. “That you are clearly struggling.”

And slipped on air.
"Oof-!" She fell over and sailed through the wall into the next room. "DANG IT!!!!!" She screeched, making her way back to where Azvameth was. She crossed her arms and scowled.
"Fine, maybe you're right."

“Told you so. You can only push yourself far enough. Shall I get you a cane made specifically for ghosts so you can at least walk?” Azvameth grinned, growling lowly.

Akina clenched her fists and closed her eyes for a second, trying to concentrate on becoming physical for a minute.
It worked.
Kinda.
"Oh great, now half of me is ghost and the rest isn't." She snarled and punched a wall (which worked this time).
"STUPID WITCHES AND THEIR STUPIDER CURSES!"

Azvameth’s eyes seemingly glared. “They aren’t stupid and their curses aren’t ‘stupider’,” They retorted. “Simple magic, simple deeds.”

"I knew. I shouldn't. have freaking. messed. with. that. stupid. cat!"

“I’m not thinking,” they said calmly, approaching her with their hands behind their back. “For I am—in all reality—stating mindless facts. They are not stupid—much more intelligent then you are, miss?..”

"Who are you?"

“Well, miss Akina—witches and wizards are highly intelligent, being top-class. She must have been experimenting.” Azvameth hummed in delight. If they had teeth, they’d be grinning from ear to ear. Their empathy was 0 for the poor girl who had been transformed. It paused, tilting its head at her, silently debating upon telling.
“Why don’t you figure that out—“ they pointed towards a poster hung up on the pin board that showed the clubs and its members. “Over there. Try guess. If you get it right first try I’ll reward you with something.”

But still-
This thing was weird. It's idea of a reward was probably something that a sane person would not go anywhere near.

“I assure you,” Azvameth narrowed their eyes, using their very weak telepathy. “That I am not someone who needs to be in a mental asylum.”
Taking out something from his grey hoodie pocket, it held it out to Akina. It was some kind of weird medallion. “Just go guess my name.”

((Hmmm...do I have her guess it or not? Hmmm....
>:)
Akina: Ah crud...))
Okay, scratch that, there were A LOT of weird names, like Kaylee. What the heck kind of name was Kaylee?
((Book: Ouch- I happen to like my name >:(
Akina: u-u))
There was no way to tell.
"Can I get at least a small hint?"

“Well,” Azvameth made a clicking sound in their throat. “If you’re good with definitions, it means something along the lines of strong death.” It cackled, twirling the medallion in its long, reptilian-like fingers.

Tsuyoi Shi was strong death in Japanese, but that wasn't anywhere.
"Is it.......uh....Azvameth? That's Israeli for strong death."

Passing the unusual medallion over to Akina, they applauded her with its unusual tail that actually seemed to be breathing.
“Very good. I’m impressed. Someone’s a little smarter then I thought.”

She was secretly weirded out by their tail.
Why was it breathing?
"Tch, I'm incredibly smart. I got the best grades in the whole school back when I was alive." She paused and mumbled. "Although I'm not technically dead so-"

The medallion linked itself onto her, grabbing hold of her form even before she was solid like a magnet attracted to a fridge or something. It glowed an eerie red and Azvameth watched it before turning their focus back onto the girl. “It’s ridiculous how you haven’t found the counter-jinx yet.” He barked a cold laugh, waving a dismissive hand…with also had a hole in the center with a lot of teeth.

This probably wasn't going to end well.....
"Pfft- the witch said I could become mortal again once I found the thing she tied my mortality to, which I guess could be literally anything, but she mentioned something about 'matters of the heart', I don't know, I was too busy being angry." Her eyes landed on the hold in his hand.
Okay....this thing was getting creepier by the second.

“It’s a medallion. Keep in mind,” it lowered his tone, their eyes staring emotionless into Akina’s. “You’re in a world of magic now. This is just a certain medallion that gives you more expertise in certain tasks. Now, I have some place to be and places to sum up. This conversation will be remembered in the stoned heart of this vampire dragon.” They nodded their head before walking over to a dark corner.
The moment they couldn’t be seen….the giant serpent-like snake reappeared with its infinitely long neck and bone-cracking sounds and chills.

The thing approached her and opened its…four jaws….as it spoke in Greek language. “Αντίο, άνθρωπε που έγινε φάντασμα.” It said simply, revealing its two tongues and sharp fangs/teeth. Then it moved its head with another snap and left down the hall.

"What the heeeeeeck?" She muttered after it disappeared down the hall. "I swear, everyday gets weirder and weirder as a ghost," she muttered, and stalked off down the hall.
"But that's- ARGHHH!" Vixi turned around, scowling, and tried to regain her sense of snarkiness.
