Yes. I meant D for the last name. I only double checked it 600 times before I posted. ::sigh::
I loved the book. It was campy and fun. I would suggest reading the first book in the series first, because otherwise the beginning parts of the story won't make sense. It had been a while since I'd read book 1, but it didn't take long for me to get back into the swing of it. If you've read AC Doyle's Sherlock Holmes Hound book, you will recognize the story - but it's way weirder because of the magic element. I gave it 4-stars.

Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption by Bryan Stevenson--9/4/22--336 pages
The very first chapter opens with a court scene in which one of the main characters testifies that he has been seeing a white woman during an era in which relations between 2 races was against the law in many states. Walter later gets the Death Penalty for a murder he didn't commit. I can't recommend this book highly enough for the changes the author, Bryan Stevenson, has accomplished with his founding of the Equal Justice Initiative.
