NO. genuinely rated this book a 2/10. i love miss CoHo, but this book just was NOT it for me. i hate enemies to lovers number one; number two- the overly emotional spice scenes turned me off SO MUCH & made me so uncomfy... yall know what i mean. anyway, the only thing that saved this book a bit was the Rachel & Miles trope, they were perfect. but other than that... straight trash
All of us readers who have read much better books don't like it because of the hype created around it. It was an okay ish book but i hated it because people keep going about how good it is when in reality it just ordinary book
I enjoyed this book, however it did seem to drag towards the end. I would rate it 4/5 stars!
I think it is good if you go into it not expecting much other than a quick tragic and romance story. There isn't really much depth to any CoHo books and I think she writes a good one off. So many plays on the same kind of relationship tragedy and on damaged people. I guess she writes about stuff some people can really relate to, but I do recommend reading it if you are into the tragic romance scene. I like to read a CoHo book every now and again in between the thriller/horror books.
This book was just so meh with such a 2-D female protagonist it was a little pathetic and a little cringe to read. Don't even bother honestly
Nooooooo!! I rated this book 1 star. I didn't like the main character. He was very cleared from the beginning and she was very pushy. She has no self-respect. And idk the story was boring, and plain. Nothing good happened. Wasted my time
I didn't like this book and was so disappointed, not worth the hype. It felt like a wattpad story
not, it's not good, yes I say this with 20 books at my back this year. so yeah I think I'm okay at saying this, don't waste your time reading this. yeah, I dragged myself thru the whole book.
I honestly LOVED this book. This was the first Colleen Hoover book I've read and I genuinely couldn't put it down. There was tragedy, there was love, and I thought it was well written. They were two characters I wasn't ready to let go of. However, reading through some of these comments, I can agree that it did drag on and at points did seem redundant.
This was my first CoHo book, so I loved it for what it was. Is it amazing? No. Is it one of her good ones? Sure.
It’s a very easy read, I literally read it in a day. Some of it was downright annoying, but as my first glimpse into CoHo writing, I’d be Lying if I said it didn’t intrigue me to read more.
I’ll be the unpopular opinion here, I’d read Ugly Love over It Ends With Us, any day of the week. Verity puts them both to shame though. Truly my fave of the ones I’ve read so far.

I think its a nice, easy read...but its definitely not worth the hype it gets on TikTok
Its just quite bland.
The story itself isn't necessarily bad, its easy to read but gets a little boring sometimes.
But it is also the only colleen book that i have actually finished.
It is fine. But as some people has said, its definitely overhyped.

I LOVED this book, and it was in one of my top 5. I found it very interesting and fun to read. It's a bit sad for me but I'm a pretty emotional person. I think it's worth a read, and if you don't like the book you can at least explain why you might not like it and not just because someone said it's bad.
Eh no. Would give it zero stars and throw it in a big fire if I could.
This book is actually good. There is a beautiful story line and yes, a kind of keeps you hooked up till the end.
I disliked this book and had to force myself to finish. Very boring. Very predictable.
Didn't love this at all. It felt like I reading about kids cosplaying adults. Something about it made me uncomfortable. I quit midway through.
no, I did not understand the hype. The plot was meeh and this was overall not a good read
It’s totally worth it and completely stands on it its title. It’s my most favorite book and the way it has showed us that how love can turn ugly and all, purely a golden piece.
The whole book isn't trash but it's kinda boring and messy in between so waste of time. I won't recommend it.
YES! 100%
I will say though, Miles needs therapy, but I enjoyed every second of it nevertheless.

Waste of time, energy and trees.
1/5, do not even bother. CoHo has plenty of other books much more engaging. Try those out.

nope, one of the worst books I've read and I've read a lot of bad books :<
tbh at the beginning I understood the hype. but the ending is just random and i really don't like it. it's an okay book but very overhyped in my opinion
No no, and just no! Wait till you get to the chapter when he meets his son for the first time and then you'll realize you've made a mistake in reading that awful book
