Most of my TBR are these genres so feel free to pick anything from my TBR shelf. Level 2 please. Thanks!
Valeria, for you I am choosing books that have the best reviews and are first in a series, or stand alone. I don't know any of these books, so I cannot give you personal recommendations. The first one though, sounds like a hoot!
Enjoy!
Hi Lisa, I'm picking The Green Mile and American Gods. I haven't read any of them but I think it should be good since they're both from popular authors!
For Michelle I pick Forgotten Bones and Haunted Hotels: Eerie Inns, Ghoulish Guests, And Creepy Caretakers, First Edition. Enjoy!

Oh no. I didn't know you had books that didn't come out yet on your TBR. I'll find something else.

Review - This is Book 1 in the Dead Remaining Series by an author that is new to me. We have 2 main characters. Susan is a police officer trying to investigate a case where several bodies of children were found and believed to have been committed years ago by a man that was in prison and our other MC, Eric who is a geology professor at the local community college who is a recent transplant after moving across country during a divorce. Eric buys an old steamer trunk at an antique sale and as he is refinishing it he starts to receive visits from a ghost child trying to send him a message. Only Eric is not sure if the child is an actual ghost or a product of his schizophrenia.
The chief of police tries to keep Susan off the case so she begins to investigate on her own time with the help of Eric who came to her to talk about his ghostly visits. The ending was predictable, but the story was interesting enough that it didn't matter. Susan and Eric make a great team working together. I will be reading more of this author.

Author - Tom Ogden

Reviews - Very boring and badly written. If the writer had stuck to historical facts or even researched some of the claims in here this might have been good.
