Dark Mason closed his eyes. He concentrated on lifting the dump truck before him. It wobbled, then began to rise. Dark cried out as the truck fell back to earth. "Still to heavy." He gasped.

Michaela ran down the street. Thankfully she had put on jeans, a t-shirt, and tennis shoes, instead of her usual dress and heals. Danton ran after her, but Michaela had always been faster. She ran past a guy who had just tried to lift a truck.

Danton narrowed his eyes as he ran after Michaela. He ran past the same guy. Wow. He thought not impressed at all.

Dark Mason whirled to the two people. They had seen him. He looked at a dumpster. It lifted and flew at the two. He didn't want humans to know of his abilities.

Michaelas eyes widened and she teleported out of the way. Danton did the same. "Watch it!" he said angrily and started running after Michaela again.

Michaela glanced at the guy for a moment then ran faster.

Dark growled. He didn't expect them to have abilities themselves.

Danton growled back then ran after his sister.

Michaela snarled. When is he gonna give up? She asked herself after turning a corner.

Danton growled again and teleported in front of her then pinned her to the ground by her throat.

Dark Mason concentrated and levitated himself. He flew to the top of a building.

Michaela snarled at him then scratched his face. Danton shot back away from her and before he could lunge again Michaela teleported to the top of a building. Danton narrowed his eyes but figured it wouldn't be worth the trouble today so he just walked away. Michaela sighed and laid on her back breathing hard.

"I was here first." Dark Mason said to Michaela.

Michaela looked at him. "Well excuse me." she said bitterly. She sat up but didn't make any move to get off the roof.

Dark rolled his eyes. He levitated himself away from the lippy girl.

Michaela made sure Danton was gone beofre h=she got off the roof. She glanced at the guy one more time before getting to the ground. She started walking, cautiously, Down the street.

Dark levitated down to the street. He was hungry.

Danton grinned. He threw some fire at her and she screamed. He laughed. "Always afraid of fire. You have to be careful, fire is attracted to fear..."

Michaela glared at him then disappeared.

Jem watched all of it from a nice distance. Her tail swished to her side. She licked one paw daintily and changed into a hawk. She scanned the ground for the guy throwing fire at the girl. With a screech, she flew down, gaining speed, and hook her talons into the guys shoulders.
"Lay off bum!" she screamed, landing on her feet completely human now. She stood up, tall for her age, her black hair whipping in the wind.

dmtri walked in and seeing everybody walked out again

Danton threw her off. He ran after Michaela.

Crystal sat at a table outside at starbucks, reading and drinking a cup of coffee.

Crystal sighed, watching people as they passed on the sidewalk.

Crystral turned back to her books, completely engrossed.

Crystal saw the boy mysterious boy run into an alley. She followed him, just to make sure there wasn't any trouble. She called upon herself to help if she could when there was something wrong since she could do things other people can't.

Crystal gasped when she saw him. She closed her eyes and phased into a jet black panther. She walked in slowly, keeping to the shadows.

Did that big lizard just talk? she thought to herself. Crystal walked out a little and looked up. "Who are you?"

Crystal looked up at him, confused. "No...I'm Crystal." she said and pulled her ears back in submission. "I didn't mean to frighten you."

Crystal shook her head.

"That's scary." she said, not relaxing her position incase he was fooling her.

Oh, dragon. Not lizard. Crystal laughed a little. "Yea." she said and shifted back. "Do you uh, need some help?"

Crystal smiled kindly. "It's fine, happens to everybody."

"See, it helps if you straighten up here." she said and pushed on his back gently so his spind was completely straight, and he shifted back.

She smiled. "guess you learned something new."

"Are you from here?"

"Oh." she said and looked at him. "It gets kind of lonely around here, me being the only one. So you're a welcome change." she said and gave him a friendly smile.

"Agreed." she said taking a sip of her coffee.

She giggled a little.

She shrugged. "I've never been fond of sweet food."

Crystal laughed. "It's not that uncommon you know."

"Ah." she said nodding.

"Do you visit here a lot?"

Crystal smiled. "Me too." she said, fiddling with a leaf on the ground.

"Which is where?" she wondered, then looked up at him. "Sorry, I'm being nosy. We don't get visitors very often." she said and laughed a little.

"Still. It gets pretty boring sometimes." she said and smiled at him. "When do you have to go back?"

"Well I'm sure you have some kind of rules in the city." she teased.

She smiled and laughed a little. "I meant your parents."

"Really? How old are you?"

"Oh, same. But I guess it's different where you live. I still live with my parents, to help out you know."

Crystal nodded and stood up, sighing. "I should get going. Have to go to work."

She waved and smiled again before walking across the street.

Crystal sighed as she worked, knowing that she'd probably never see him again.
