Nikki sat out by the river behind her house in her half form. She lounged against a rock.
Geth was walking down to the river. For the moment he looked like a tall, midnight black haired young man. He picked up some rocks and began to toss them, seeing which ones would skip.
Nikki heard someone skipping rocks with her heightened hearing, but didn't think they would come close enough to see her so she didn't change back to her fully human form.
Geth threw a rock as hard as he could. It caught a ripple and skipped right into Nikki's head.
"Ow!" Nikki said quickly changing back. She stood up and threw the rock back over to Geth. "I think you're supposed to keep them in the river." she said playfully, one hand to her head.
Geth ducked. "Sorry." He said. "Didn't see ya there."
"Obviously." Nikki said with a smile.
Geth shrugged. His hair turned red.
Nikki's eyes went wide. "How did you do that?"
"Your hair just changed colors." Nikki said. She slipped off her flipflops and crossed the shallow river so she was next to him.
"Dang it!" Seth exclaimed. "I can never keep to one form for long enough."
"What do you mean 'one form'?" Nikki asked curiously. She'd never met another shapeshifter before.
"I mean I can't look like one thing for too long. For instance: I could be 6 foot five one minute, then I could be 4 foot nine the next." Geth grew wings from his shoulders. "Sometimes I can control it, but not all the time."
"Wow." Nikkia said, letting her jaguar ears reform.
"Your a shapeshifter too." Geth observed.
Nikki nodded. "But why can't you stay in form?" she wondered sitting back down by the river.
"That is an excellent question." Geth said. "I don't know myself."
"I like the forms that aren't human. Human forms are boring to me." Geth changed into a large lizard like creature.
"I agree." Nikki said shifting into her jaguar form. "Can you change into anything you want?"
"Sometimes." Geth said. He closed his eyes and turned into a gigantic land crawling octopus. Then lost the form and changed into a black shadow. "Can't hold it for long though."
"That's really cool." Nikki said changing back.
Geth shrugged. "It has it's advantages. What really irks me though is when I change into an embarrassing form."
"Any girly forms." Geth said with a grimace.
"Absolutely not!" Geth said. "I die of embarrassment every time."
"Jeez, I was just kidding." Nikki said and playfully tossed a rock at him.
Geth pulled a face. "It is just not cool when my body changes into one of those forms."
"I think it's completely cool that you even have the to do that."
"I would like it if I could control it better." Geth said.
Nikki nodded, staring thoughtfully over the water.
Geth turned into an alligator like creature and dived into the water.
Nikki laughed a little and watched him curiously.
Geth dove to the bottom and hid. He waited until a big fish came around and pounced. He gulped it down.
Nikki watched him with curiosity and turned her head when he came up, pretending as if she hadn't been watching the whole time.
Geth changed into a fire creature and bust from the water. "I HATE IT WHEN THAT HAPPENS!" He said landing on the ground.
"Oh my gosh. Are you okay?" Nikki asked quickly scrambling over to him.
"Fine. The flames were hot enough that the water didn't do much damage." His flames went up to full power. Everything within an inch of him was incinerated and turned to glass.
Garnet sighed walking bumping into Seth"OWWWW"
"Can you watch were your going!"she siad her fangs coming out
Garnet stood."I'm Garnet Redfern by the way"
