They were discussing her marital prospects right in front of her. How rude! I wasn't impressed by either father or son.
It was obvious that any woman would be a possession to these men. I thought the senior Lambert was a sleaze and his son was on his way to being a bigger sleaze.
Agree with you both. I got a sense of foreboding after this scene, not trusting the son anymore than I would his despicable father.
Their first meeting, the way she saw he had had a wardrobe malfunction. I thought their meet-cute was cute. With this scene I also had some grave misgivings about Roland.
After listening to both of them discuss who would win Cassandra, I thought both of these guys were jerks. She was standing right there while they were discussing her like she was a prized racehorse. Up to that point, I didn't have a problem with your Lambert. Now I didn't like either him or his father.
I thought she should stay far away from both of these men. I agree, Robin. Up to this point, I didn't have a problem with Lambert either.
There’s something about how the son might not fall from the tree of the father that put me off here.
