Play Book Tag discussion

Bookstore owner A. J. Fikry, 39 and widowed for 2 years, is drinking too much, letting the business go and treating customers and publisher's reps badly. Then his prized rare book is stolen; his nest egg for retirement. He panics bringing on a medical scare that gets him exercising and watching his drinking. When he returns from a run one day he finds a 2 year old girl left in the children's section with a note from the mother who abandoned her. This child changes his life. He fosters and then adopts her under the watchful eyes of the local police and ladies. Great secondary characters and lots of book references make this a gem for a book aficionado.

This was a reread for a book club discussion and I enjoyed it as much the second time around. Just came out as a movie and I am eager to see it.
