In honor of the late Queen Elizabeth II, the theme for November's group read is going to be Queen.

All nominated books must be historical fiction featuring a Queen as the main character.

REMINDERS
NO SELF NOMINATIONS - Any members who nominated their own book will be immediately removed from the group.
ALL POSTS MUST CONTAIN - THE TITLE OF THE BOOK, THE AUTHOR OF THE BOOK, AND A SHORT SENTENCE ABOUT HOW IT RELATES TO THE THEME - Any nomination posts not containing ALL three of these things will be ignored.
BOOKS MUST BE READ IN SERIES ORDER - You cannot nominate book 4 in series if books 1-3 have not been previous group reads. Exceptions will be made this month for any books by Jean Plaidy as her novels about English queens tend to be parts of many different series and were originally published as stand alone novels.
ALL MEMBERS GET ONE NOMINATION AND ONE SECOND - Please make sure you are clearly stating when you are nominating and/or seconding a book. Extra chatter in the thread makes it difficult for the moderators to keep track of votes.

A complete breakdown of the nomination process can be found here - https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE make sure you are double checking our group bookshelf before nominating. We have already read well over 100 books as a group. It is greatly appreciated if you check the read shelf before nominating a book to make sure we have not already read said book. The shelf can be found here - https://www.goodreads.com/group/books...
