Joseph Beth Sci-Fi Book Group discussion

How is it?

I won't be able to make it to the next two meetings because they fall on the fourth Monday of the month, which is when Sadieville City Commission meets at 6 p.m. I'll be reading the books and posting on here, but I won't be able to make it physically.

Sorry you can't make it. We'll look for your comments though and share them with the group. We'll let you know what we think. I ordered my book yesterday so I'll start on it as soon as I get it in the mail.

I'll try to keep that in mind when we schedule are next book.

Does anyone not able to make it have any date restrictions to Mays meet?

I have conflict with April's I was going to talk about tonight. I am out of town last week in April.

Do you mean you are out of town the last week of May? I don't have any restrictions. The 25th is Memorial Day, and a holiday. No school and many businesses are closed. The 18th is the Monday before that and would be the other option.

Sorry if I confused things. Two topics.

1)I have a conflict for never ending story at end of April that came up.

2) since we have a few no shows tonight and will pick mays. Do we Kayla and or others have any known conflicts?

Ah ha! Well you are the one who picked Never Ending Story. That will stink if you can't be there for your own book.

So for your 2) does everyone prefer May 18th or May 25th?

25th is Memorial Day, so I'd prefer the 18th, but I think I could do either.

I just saw these comments. I saw that April's meeting was changed, so I will definitely be able to come! Same with May's meeting. I was just assigned a new beat that is the fourth Monday night of each month, so that was why I couldn't originally go. Thanks for changing everyone!

Your welcome. We had you in mind when we were planning the May meeting so we scheduled it on the 3rd Monday instead of the 4th so you would be able to make it. Daniel couldn't make the 4th Monday in April as we had originally planned, and the book is one he picked for the group, so we definitely had to switch the date. We can try to avoid the 4th Mondays whenever possible since it seems that Monday is the only day we can all get together.
