What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I read this book 2-3 years ago and I think it had a purple cover maybe but I'm really not sure. It reminded me of the Hunger games because it was sort of an isolated district/town where everyone had their roles and jobs chosen for them and there were weekly gatherings with the leader/president of the town. The main character escapes beyond the fence/boundary every so often to go hunting in the surrounding woods with her male best friend who I think has feelings for her. I believe she lives with her dad in a small house. I think it was set in either spring or winter with snow. The main character then finds this abandoned shack or something in the forest away from the town and she also encounters these masked people with trunks (I think they looked like the witch doctors with the beak masks, except they were shaped like trunks.) This is all I can remember at the moment!!!

This Winterkill book looks like Divergent and Hunger Games had a baby hahhahah
