Would anyone like to start choosing a date to start this one? Not sure who has it and will be reading along.
Jennifer - Was it just the two of us for this one? Somehow I thought someone else had it and might be joining us, but maybe not.
Want to start around the 3rd?

Sounds good, Jennifer!
Bummer, Vicki! Did you request it? It should still be there if you want it. I really enjoyed the last book I had by this author, A Flicker in the Dark.

I haven't gotten to it yet either, Jennifer! I had seven books going at once. Way too many. I think it's just us. I'm buddy reading The Prisoner now and have the Finlay Donovan buddy after that. Could we put this one off for a couple of weeks? Maybe start on the 23rd? It doesn't publish until Jan 10th. I'm excited for it, but a little overwhelmed with reads right now.

I hope you get out of your slump too! I've been there many times. I do think that putting it off just a bit will be helpful so we will be more excited about it and less pressured. I'll change the date in the calendar and plan to start the 23rd. :) Hopefully, we'll be done Finlay by then.

I will follow along, but won't be starting until December.
I am backed up by 4 reads right now, but I think I can get caught up soon.
Ready to start this one tomorrow! I was fortunate enough to get a widget for the audio, so I can keep reading Finlay Donovan while listening to this one. :)

I'm at 41% up to chapter 24. Chapter 23 ended with a mike drop! (view spoiler)
So far, more questions than answers. I'm really curious to see where this goes.

Shruti, you're still a bit ahead of me! I'm looking forward to reading your spoiler.
Vicki and Jennifer, did either of you start?
Thereadingbell, I'm also behind and need to catch up on some reads. I have a couple past the pub date now. Do you think you'll be starting soon?

Forgetting to update! I'm at 63% and I still think that (view spoiler)
So far, I'm really enjoying this one. I hope the ending keeps it up!

Oh perfect! I actually have another book that I need to finish too, so I'll put this one aside for today. :)
Picked it back up and made it to 83% today. I can finally read Shruti's spoiler!
I'm not sure what to say, so much is happening... (view spoiler)

A totally gripping thriller about a desperate mother with a troubled past.
One year ago, Isabelle Drake's life changed forever: her toddler son, Mason, was taken out of his crib in the middle of the night while she and her husband were asleep in the next room. With little evidence and few leads for the police to chase, the case quickly went cold. However, Isabelle cannot rest until Mason is returned to her—literally.
Except for the occasional catnap or small blackout where she loses track of time, she hasn’t slept in a year.
Isabelle's entire existence now revolves around finding him, but she knows she can’t go on this way forever. In hopes of jarring loose a new witness or buried clue, she agrees to be interviewed by a true-crime podcaster—but his interest in Isabelle's past makes her nervous. His incessant questioning paired with her severe insomnia has brought up uncomfortable memories from her own childhood, making Isabelle start to doubt her recollection of the night of Mason’s disappearance, as well as second-guess who she can trust... including herself. But she is determined to figure out the truth no matter where it leads.
