My month has been really slow, I haven't gotten through too many books. I'm also 400/1000 pages into Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell and it's due back in 3 days, so I need to power through that this weekend.

message 3: by Michele (new)

Michele Olson | 627 comments I'm a bit behind my usual total in September because I've been binging on Netflix and giving up on the books I've tried.
I just started reading Cocaine Blues, the first Phryne Fisher book, and am listening to Towards Zero

Kim Hampton | 266 comments It's been a little slow for me. I'm about to start My Name Is Mary Sutter by Robin Oliveira. My book club is reading Winter Sisters and I HAVE to read series in order.

Beth | 212 comments My month has been odd... Not too bad for reading, though. The books I'm in the process of:
The Answer Is…: Reflections on My Life by Alex Trebek
Sacred Stone by Clive Cussler
Noble Outlaw by Matt Braun

Carol (cquan01) | 646 comments I finished the Summer Genre Challenge earlier this month. I read breaking Bread With the Dead, Murder in the Orient Express, Arsenic and Adobo and Maus. I listened to Empire in Pain, which was amazing! Excellent use of my Audible Credit! Highly recommend!!!

Right now I hope to finish If I Survive You, which I grabbed on skinny and is longlisted for The National Book Award. I also started Maus II and am listening to Brother, I Am Dying. I should be able to finish all of these by the end of the month.

Anna (annafrommontana) | 485 comments I hope to finish the last 2 in the Breadwinner series, Mud City and My Name Is Parvana. They are middle grade/young teen books so should be doable.
I am also listening to The Best of Me.

Nicole (Nerdish.Maddog) (nerdishmaddog) | 72 comments I have 1 giveaway win to finish: The Blacker the Berry... (thanks to librarything)
I have an Arc of Reef Road I think I can squeeze in cause its billed as a mystery/thriller and at the 300pg threshold that usually only takes 3 days to read.
I'm like 30% through a netgalley arc of Maame but I read a lot less on my phone so this will probably finish early October
I really need to stop asking for free books so I can get back to the challenge.

Kezia | 42 comments Trying to finish up the last of the summer genre challenge. I've given myself until October 1. Just finished Double Indemnity and now have to plug away at the last 100 pages or so of Middlemarch. I find it tough to sit down in September and read, because it is the best month of the year to be outside.
