Ash shook his head at the unconscious boy and cupped his hands around his mouth. "Yo boys! Look who I brought back!" A group of guys came out of the shadows and smirked down at Poe. "If it ain't the snitch." One of them chuckled.
((I'll be right back, I'm gonna go make a few of the guys and the boss-
Do you want to make anyone?))
Poe began to wake up a bit, though they really couldn't tell.
((you should tie his hands cuz he has a gun in his pocket and he's afraid to use it-))

Malcolm stepped forward and shook his head, clicking his tongue. "Why it's little Poe, come crawling back I see. Did you miss us?" Zane kept his distance and had his head down and covered by his hood. Talon cracked a smile and waved enthusiastically. "Hey, Poe! Remember me?" He seemed not able to grasp exactly what was going on, poor guy...
Poe stayed silent, but still gave off a small growl in anger. He didn't want to be here, he wanted this to have never happened.

((also I feel like the boss used to treat Poe like his child and still does--))
Poe glared at them all.
Poe glared at them all.

Ash fake pouted. "Aww, don't give me that look scum, you used to think of me as a brother. Remember that?" He rudely ruffled Poe's already messed up hair. Malcolm clicked his tongue in annoyance. "What has young Poe been up to since he left us?" He inquired. Ash snickered loudly. "Get this, he's been running a bookstore!" He burst out laughing followed by Malcolm and Talon.
Poe, since his feet and legs were still unbound kicked ash in the joint of his knee, paralyzing it for a while.

A few buildings away, Kaylee was walking around, trying to figure out where she was. "Man...Tony talked fast once I pulled out the pepper spray." She muttered. "I just hope the police find his testimony useful while they figure out who exactly took Poe." She glanced at the sheet of paper in her right hand. Apparently Tony, the owner of the diner, paid for gang protection from a group of local thugs, who had sworn him to secrecy about their goings on.
Although Tony immediately started talking once the police arrived and threatened him with life in prison for accessory to kidnapping. He'd crumbled and while he was being taken away, Kaylee had found an address on his counter. It seemed useful so she'd decided to figure out where this area was.
So far it seemed like a stupid idea because she was pretty sure she was lost.
Oops.
((wow- make the boss get here now--))
Poe stayed still as he was once again slung over Ash's shoulders.
((you need to gag him-))
Poe stayed still as he was once again slung over Ash's shoulders.
((you need to gag him-))

Ash was about to toss Poe in a closet when the main door opened and a man dressed in a fancy black outfit stepped into the room. "Well, well, well. What have we here?" Talon and Zane marched over to him. "Boss!" Talon yelled. "Ash found Poe! He's back!" He grinned wildly. Zane just nodded in the direction of Poe and Ash. Ahs whirled around. "Boss! Good news! I found him!" He dumped Poe on the floor again, roughly. The Boss (aka Tobin Shu) walked to the boy. "My goodness, Poe. It's been far, far too long. We missed you around the warehouse." He smirked. He looked up at Malcolm and frowned. "Why didn't you gag him?" Malcolm gulped. "Oh uh, it slipped my mind sir...I'll gag him right now!" He pulled a strip of cloth out of his jacket pocket and wrapped it around Poe's mouth. "There, that'll do it."

Kaylee face palmed.
This was hopeless. She was fricking lost and she couldn't think of any way to rescue Poe. How useless was she!?
She sighed and looked down at the address again. "Hmmm....funny..." She looked at the numbers and then at the numbers on a warehouse across the street. "Is it...? If it is....wow are they living cliches.." She chuckled, pocketing the paper.

"Poe." Tobin murmured after they'd gotten a decent distance away from the other boys. "Do you know how upset I was after I discovered you'd run away? Do you know how angry was to learn that the boy I'd treated as my son had turned us in the police and went into hiding." Tobin shook his head mournfully.
the look in Poe's eyes was sorry but Tobin couldn't see that because his bangs were covering his eyes.

Tobin opened the door to a room they'd come upon and he pushed Poe into the room. "Have a seat." He gestured to the metal chair that was in the middle of the room. In one corner there was a desk, in another, a stack of boxes, and the walks were blank concrete with a single window showing the night sky.

Poe walked over to the chair and sat in it, his head hanging low.
((POE STILL LOVES TOBIN IN HIS HEART THOUGH-))

Meanwhile, Kaylee was sneaking around the outside of the warehouse, trying to figure out the best way to sneak in.
So far, there was none.
She cursed under her breath and checked out the front door.
Suspiciously it was unlocked, but there was no way she was getting in that way.
There were no outcomes in her brain where that ended well.
She threw her head back in frustration and paused. "Oh ho ho...." She mumbled. "That'll do the trick..."
Tobin sat down behind the desk and watched Poe for a few minutes, observing the boy he called his son. "Things haven't been the same without you." He broke the silence with that comment. "Jobs just haven't been as fun without our Poe. Talon and Zane missed you. Malcolm and Ash insisted we were better off without you, but... you know how they are." He pulled a cigarette out of his coat pocket and lit it. "You still smoke, son?"

"Ah, shame. I suppose the bookworm life cut that away from you." He stuck the cigarette in his own mouth and puffed. "Why a bookstore, anyway? Seems so....boring for you, Poe."

...
just thought of that...))
Tobin chuckled suddenly. "Oh that's right, I forgot about that silky old gag." He walked up to Poe and untied the restricting piece of cloth.
"First off I enjoy reading and second off I never intended to run away but Ash was truly getting on my nerves."

Was this a stupid plan?
Probably.
Was it a dangerous one?
Sort of.
Why was she doing it?
Because only stupid people walk into warehouses that are suspected gang hideouts using the front door.
She wobbled a little in the air and had to bite her tongue to muffle a shriek. 'Okay...almost there....just step onto the roof....and then go through the skylight....that simple.' She took on foot off the ladder and bit her lip, drawing blood, to keep front screaming as the ladder shimmied underneath her. As quickly as she was able to, she let go of the ladder and leaped fully onto the roof.
The ladder fell and clanged as it smacked onto the ground.
'Shoot...'
Tobin nodded sagely. "I see....Ash drove you away then? Hmmm....I suppose we could fix that." He puffed on his cigarette again. "We could always keep you two separate, that might help. Or we could always just...get rid of him." He glanced down at Poe's face. "You know you're my favorite out of all them, right Poe? You are the only one with the real steal and determination. You're the only one worthy of being called my son." He took a drag on the cigarette.
((>:3 (how about Kaylee just comes in through the window of this room?)))
Poe smiled, happy to be back where he had considered home for half of his life.
