𝙰𝚗𝚢 𝚜𝚞𝚐𝚐𝚎𝚜𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚜 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎- 𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝 𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎!!
If you are familiar with Rooftop & roommates, you might be familiar with this:
I suggest maybe Gargoyles specialize in runes?
They'd have hard, grey-like skin and are capable of transforming into a more fleshy, human form! ( they only look human. If you'd bump into them, they are still as hard as a rock and their mass wouldn't change, so they'd be extremely heavy still, to the point of not being able to do things like go on the ice. They'd transform back into their gargoyle forms if exposed to things like too much supernatural energy from another supernatural or strong magic from a witch. { which, usually has to be done directly and purposely. } )
They'd be capable of breathing green-like fire and in a way, would be like witches with their runes. ( except, they have to draw out complex symbols, have a basic understanding of them to actually do it right, and don't require any chants, just them touching it. e.g. a rune that reveals a supernatural's true form or one that turns them to their true element temporarily. { e.g. a gargoyle to pure stone and a harpy to pure gold. these are examples from the webtoon } ) Considered natural protectors, as depicted in movies as the protectors of castles. Have a natural inclination towards high buildings and being high up. They would be considered protectors of not only the supernatural realm, but also the human realm and would actually often be expected by their families to do things like go on missions to hunt down those who dare to threaten the safety of the two realms ( i say realms, but I really just mean like, a natural distinction between supernatural and humans )
Which brings me to my next one :
Harpies! seen as natural enemies to gargoyles, despite coming from a common ancestor. Like a gargoyle's natural element is stone, theirs is gold. They typically collect shiny things and unlike gargoyles, don't have great abilities in magic and actually have very low affinities in it. In contrast, though, they are much quicker than gargoyles and are excellent fliers.
and one that I haven't seen in the webtoon :
Pheonixes. Also share a common ancestor with gargoyles and harpies, their natural element depends. They have stronger magic than harpies, but only really specialize in one type of magic. (e.g. born as an ice phoenix, they'd only be able to use things like ice magic. a fire phoenix would only be able to use fire and magic of the sort. ) While all three typically live long lives ( 200 being considered rather young while 21 would be considered like, a baby, even if they do look like an adult. ), Pheonixes seem to live the longest and rebirth is actually their real specialty. While they not retain all their memories, a phoenix's soul is one that often is reborn.
So, summary
Gargoyle ; Natural Element Stone ; Specialty Runes
Harpies ; Natural Element Gold ; Specialty Flying
Pheonixes ; Natural Element Depends on Subspecies ; Specialty Rebirth
And,
Ghosts/Ghouls.
Much like depicted in movies and such, they are semi-transparent and is able to phase through things. Their specialty is possession. All ghosts/ghouls were once living supernaturals/people. As a result, it's completely possible for them to maintain one of the specialties or special abilities they had when they were alive. E.g. a witch ghost could perform magic and a gargoyle would be able to do runes.
these are just suggestions. I'm not sure if this would be okay, i just actually really liked how some of these were depicted.
sorry if its a lot or just random, I really like supernatural stuff ( most of my groups are supernatural, including the first group I ever made for goodreads a few years back on a separate account )
Matagots is another suggestion. They come from french mythology and originally take form of a cat. there are many different variations, but one of the most common is that you feed the cat, it'll leave you money the next day for your goodwill. as a result, people tried to capture them and keep them locked up to make a lot of money.
I have my own variation of this that I've been using for years ;
Matagots, or Mandagots, are shapeshifting creatures that have been known historically, to often take the form of a black and white cat. ( though, of course, they can transform into anything, including humans. ) They are a type of creature that typically pays back anything twofold. If you would treat the matagot favorably, their fur will turn white and they'd leave. ( such as feeding them when they are hungry or saving them from an accident. ) The next day, the person who treated them with goodwill would have extremely good luck, ranging from luck with relationships, money, and their jobs. If treated poorly, the matagot's fur would turn black, an indication that bad luck would soon follow those who treat them poorly.
This is where the superstition that black cats are unlucky would have come from. at least, that was their involvement with their legends. The truth is, Matagots are very loyal creatures who pay back what they are given. Their specialty, one unique to their species, is called 'karma.' This does, in fact, allow them to give both good luck and bad luck to those around them. However, due to the fact that many were being killed or captured in order to use these special abilities, the small amount that were still alive went into hiding. it'd be rare to see a matagot, especially with how little there are. They are similar to a witch's familiar in a way and can become one, but that's only if they'd sign a contract with a witch. there were rare cases of this, and it was usually because something happened where the witch did something huge for them, like saving their life or the life of a loved one.
In short:
Shapeshifting creatures, unique ability 'karma' ( bad/good luck ), endangered, hardly ever seen, always pays back what others are owed, typically take on more cat-like forms.

Runes can count as a specialty power of the Gargoyle. I would add it as a base power, but seeing as they are the protectors, I believe the older the Gargoyle, the more it is capable of doing. So thank you for the input! I based this off a book but I will look into adding more supernatural creatures when I get a free moment to do so. I love the suggestions already and will add them/consider them ASAP
Shape-Shifters will be #1 for the next one I do, I am just laying it out to get it started and add from there.
thank you!
supernatual and medieval roleplays are two of my favorite, so I was really excited to suggest some stuff. I could make more suggestions, but I decided to stop at Matagots lol
You're totally fine! When I can catch up I totally hold all reins to you to give me all the suggestions! Lol
so, i know we have student leadership and student council, but what about like, branch committees to the student council? Like a disciplinary committee and planning committee. they'd be branch departments of the student council, so still student council, but they'd focus solely on a certain thing. Disciplinary focuses on discipline and student safety, while the planning committee would focus all their time and energy on events.
I think I have the positions for the Student Council. It's like that except they each have a role. I'll have to see. I have to catch up with a few things before I do.

That's why that is a sport if that makes sense
so so, suggestion
maybe broadcast messages for like, events and everything? When the events begin, and like, a 2 day warning to wrap up whatever roleplays that are taking place within the event?
{ i think everyone, if not most everyone was at a stopping point anyways, but I just thought of it and thought it would be a good idea in case anyone in future events was doing an important interaction that was important to character development and everything. Most stuff can be omitted most of the time, like the, roleplays going on in this event, but I also personally know how hard it is to get events to end on time when there are a lot of ongoing roleplays.
I mainly say this assuming you'd do bigger events in the future ** }
Yes! Thank you. I'm sorry, it was the first event, and my own first event hosting, and I wasn't thinking about the placement of the time frame. So that is my fault. BUT the next event is bigger than this one and I will be broadcasting and putting a message in the events topic. When the registration and everything comes I will also post it in the chat. It will be widely broadcast, I promise, for the beginning and end.
I don't think it mattered as much since it was a smaller scale event ( like I said, I actually think you ended it at a good time ), I just wanted to suggest it since I know I have trouble with bigger events and keeping them within the time frames when I hosted my own
Yeah. The next event has two spots for RP and I still have it at a week long. So yes. I'll keep that in mind. Thank you. I appreciate it.

Okay, I know it has been forever! But I have thought it out and after reading the book I have taken the suggestion of shape-shifters. I didn't decide on harpies because of my further discovery in the book and I am trying to stay relatively close to it.
I can make another school for specific creatures, as that is actually also represented in the book lol.
