There's more to October than Halloween. Let's honor some other October holidays and clear some books off the tbr while we're at it!


Indigenous Peoples Day - Read a book written by or whose MAIN character is an indigenous person. Explain how your book fits. Please link to the author if using that option.

Canadian Thanksgiving - Author's first and last initials found in MAPLE LEAF. Middle initials (if used) may be ignored. Letters may be used only so often as they appear in the target phrase.

RULES OF THE CHALLENGE

All books used must be a minimum of 100 pages long - Page length determined by HARDCOVER 1st edition. If there is no Hardcover, then the most popular paperback governs page #.

You may read in any format - text, audio or e-book.

You MUST finish the book before you can claim credit for completing a task.

A book may be used for only one task, even if it would satisfy the challenge for multiple tasks.

EXAMPLE of a successful post:
