This thread is for anyone that want to suggestion buddy reads and want to gather friends for the buddy reads. Reminder: After you decide what you will be buddy reading then please make the buddy read thread in the appropriate genre folder.

For example: if you are buddy reading a fantasy book then please make a thread in the fantasy folder, etc. as we want to keep the reads organized for the right genres.

The only folders that are excluded from the genre folders is the featured authors and the big buddy reads. Those are in their own folders.

I'm reading my way through Lovecraft now. I see nods to him in the overview of this book. Count me in! :)

Hi TheresaW, I'm reading Lovecraft too, all be it slowly. This book is a beloved reread for me, and it definently 'wags its tail,' at Lovecraft's stories.

I see what you did there! I also see a pooch named Snuff in the synopsis. 🐶 Just the brief overview and what I dared to read of reviews without spoiling anything for myself, this looks like a fun one to read around Halloween.

I am aiming to read it this month or next sorry! I got the second one from a publisher so I'm hoping to review it for them soonish. But if I don't get to it before Jan I'll let you know lol

Is anybody interested in The Wide, Carnivorous Sky and Other Monstrous Geographies? It’s a book of short stories by John Langan who wrote The Fisherman which is so good. I’m thinking February or March.

Love John Langan ! The Fisherman is great. Have you read Sefira & other Betrayals? It's one of my favorites from him. If I get The Wide Carnivorous Sky by that time, I'd love to buddy read with you. :)

The expanse is monthly until it’s done. If it’s unfinished we’ll read the new ones as they release.

I also intend on seeing HP through and I think that was the persons intent who started it. I can’t remember who it was though.

Hello Marie, Funny I have this on my January TBR. I have it so just let us know when you want to start it. I love Adam N. Many feel like King he is too wordy, but his writing style is so beautiful to me. To me every word used build the world he wants you to see. Can't wait to read it! I was hoping to get to the Vessel & the Ritual or Last days in January. So Im in for the Vessel!
