~{π²ππππππππ π·π·πΌ}~Aston knocked on the door, peaking his head into the classroom. He spotted Yuki going through papers at the corner of her class, her white fur coat shining in the light's glare. She was gorgeous, her coat always glossy and shiny, matching her snow white hair. Yuki had clear, magenta eyes that appeared wise and full of knowledge no one else knew. Which was a given, having the power she did. She heard Aston knock and glanced back with a warm smile. "Aston. How are you?" She waved him in, her hoofs clicking on the stone tiled floor as she made her way closer to the wolf-shifter. She had a premonition the night before he would come to her, but it had not specified for what that he would require of her. She was curious, and actually surprised. They got along quite well, on even ground with teaching.
Aston swallowed a bit and rubbed the back of his neck. He hesitantly stepped into the classroom to stand next to her. "I'm doing alright. I guess. Can I ask you a few questions? On... Aging spells?"
Yuki blinked at his request. Why aging spells? Aston was an original wolf-shifter from France. A long, pure lineage of strong wolf-shifters with consistant powers. He was to live a good 20-30 years past a normal shifter's life span. "Um.. Sure. Can I ask why?" She inquired, going to her special chair made for her half-horse body.
Aston took a moment to answer, standing next to her desk as he conjured up a response. He couldn't hide it, her oracle powers would snag him in his attempt. He sighed. "A.. certain someone is a vampire. They live longer than I do, and I don't think he is comfortable enough to turn me, if we were to mate."
"Do you have a mating bond with this...'certain someone'?" She asked immediately. A mating bond changed the game for many inter-species couples, allowing them to dismiss their hunger for blood to efficiently turn them. As hurting them wasn't an option, it would hurt them as well.
Aston swallowed. "I-I don't think so."
She hummed and thought for a moment. "Well, my curse's spell is a... complicated one, only done by crones or experienced witches. There are smaller spells that have to be renewed, but they aren't recommended." She looked at him intently, eyes soft and imploring. Nothing was showing for his future, as he was still deciding. "That's the only ones I can think of. But, Aston, you must know, once it is cast, it can not be undone. You'll forever age the same slow speed as I."
Aston shifted and his eyes adverted slightly. "I'm okay with that. If the person I spend it with is someone I love, I'm willing to make that sacrifice. It would be the same if they turned me." He glanced up to her, his words sincere with his eyes as he spoke. She couldn't help but adore the shifter for his passion, and felt the need to help him with his decision even more. She let out a small breath.
"There is a final option. Where you tether your life to your partner's. When they die, you die and so on and so forth." She suggested. "If you feel that strongly, most mates get such done. If only to not be parted in death. And in this case, if you are unsure of you two sharing a mating bond, I recommend it." She shifted in her chair to get comfortable as she explained, silky tail flicking as she did. "But, you would want to speak to them about it."
Aston blinked and flushed at the notion, nodding as he took in the information. So- only two options, if you disclose the inefficient, renewal aging spell. Curse aging spell and tethering spell. He met her deep magenta gaze, his ocean eyes unsure and light. "I'll think some more about it. But- I am thinking the curse's spell is a top contender." He said. He sighed and brushed back his hair. "Than-"
"Will you tell me who it is, Aston?" She tilted her head, brows in a slight frown.
Aston halted and paused, unsure of what to say. He swallowed and then frowned back. How did she not know? "You don't know?"
She shook her head, white curls grazing over her shoulders. "No, because you have not made a decision yet, therefore the future is not set." She elaborated, hands resting on her lap and hooves lightly scarfing the floor.
He glanced away, unsure whether to tell her or not. She did not know, and based on her explanation, he was still figuring it out. He gave her a small smile. "I'll say when I know myself, Yuki."
She gave him a brighter smile. "That's fine. It's your choice and I respect that. Is that all you needed?" She asked, eyes sparkling with wonder at the shifter.
"Yeah, I just wanted some background. I appreciate it. Thank you." He waved a goodbye, heading to the door. "See you tomorrow."
"See you tomorrow, Aston." She smiled widely as he walked out of her room.
But when he got to her classroom threshold, she blanched. A vision flooded her mind, eyes going clouded. She saw Aston, bleeding and on the verge of death. A small glimpse of... Pink skin... Masami?
The vision disappeared as soon as it came, Aston having left her room. She gasped and her skin went as white as her coat. As she caught her breath she hoped that Masami made it in time, whenever the vision came true.
