cassius atticus— 17 — he/him — heterosexual — male
cassius means hollow and his surname, atticus, means from attica. both his first name and surname have latin origins. they don't really have much of an opinion on their name and often go by the nickname cas.
5'9" — 520 lbs— black hair — brown/green eyes
the male has two different forms. a human form and his original form. his human form is harder to hold, especially for long periods of time. as there is no point in keeping this form while at school, he usually is in his original. In his original, he looks almost identical to his human body. His skin just turns grey and he sprouts huge wings on his back and grows horns on his head. Where the whites are supposed to be, there is green. His ears are pointy as well. they seem rather fit, though, they don't really participate in any sport.

cassius is a very active person and often tries to lessen his burdens through various parties and such. he isn't all fun and games though and often locks down when needed, after all, he can't fail his parents. he's a very fun-loving person otherwise though and likes making friends, meeting new people, and experiencing new things. he especially finds the adrenaline very enticing and tends to do a lot of dangerous things. he's not necessarily good at studying, or very many gargoyle things. as a result, even if he studied, he often go low scores and he'd definitely have a lot of trouble with classes based on abilities and such, as he's not a very practical gagoyle and isn't really good at anything in particular other than runes. he's creative and skilled enough to change runes, but doesn't know many runes in the first place as he often doesn't pay attention. he's extremely dense and often has trouble with certain things, like understanding certain human things and.. relationships, as his relationships with his parents, has always been strained.
he likes a lot of things, but especially parties and human food, such as pizza and icecream. He also prefers modern clothing rather than the old-timey clothes his parents try to get him to wear.
backstory — family — relationships — clubs — sports
he grew up in a rather prominent gargoyle family with two older brothers. growing up, he often was forced to learn all kinds of things, like the weaknesses of various different supernatural species, in the case that they need to apprehend them. he's always been rather clumsy and a lot of the training done didn't really stick. while he knows how to fight, he more or so does so clumsily and would likely lose against an experienced fighter. the only thing he really has going for him is his weight, being made from like, stone and everything.
he and his family aren't necessarily close, and to be honest, he'd never ask them for help. part of this is because he feels he has to do everything himself, otherwise he'd be seen as unworthy. it's largely due to the pressure that his family puts on him that he feels that he has to do everything himself. He's never really been in a relationship for a similar reason, not really wanting to rely on others and not being able to be completely honest about some of his feelings. and well, he's dense, so. he's not really in any sports, nor any clubs.
special abilities — species — species specialties
he's insanely good with runes and is especially good at altering them. he's very creative and is able to read runes with ease. he offers to alter already existing runes in order to do what he needs to do. He is a gargoyle. He's also able to breathe and manipulates this green fire. Despite being a gargoyle, he's not very combat oriented and not really interested in doing the whole, keeping the realm safe thing. He'd much rather just chill. Though, he knows it's something he has to do, so he works rather hard to reach the expectations set for him by his family.

baltasar atticus— 19 — he/him — closeted homosexual — male
baltasar means 'god protects the king' and atticus means 'from attica'. both are latin names. he was given the name baltasar as the first child, which showed the expectations they had of the child becoming a 'protector' as expected of a gargoyle. he has no real opinion of his name. He often goes by bal or sar.
6'3" — 838 lbs— silver hair — green/black eyes
he stands at around 6'3", being a bit taller than his older brother. he weighs a bit more than him as well, being around 840 pounds nearly. he's also a lot more athletic and studious than his brother. his hair is silver, unlike his brother's black hair. much like his brother, his eyes are green and black, as a gargoyle. his horns are longer, black, and curly. his human form, or, his 'fleshy form' as he calls it, is very similar, just, white skin instead of grey. he's not very fond of this form though.
serious — hardworking — smart — strong — stressed
despite being brothers, they aren't very similar. he's not someone who enjoys being around humans and he's also not someone who really goes to parties. as the older one, he's always felt the responsibility a whole lot more than his siblings and as the more responsible of the three, he felt he needed to be the more responsible one. He's been training the longest and is probably the most intelligent of the three. While he is best at combat, it's their other brother that seems to be most skilled in flight and combat. overall, he's often described as the 'perfect one' by his siblings, the typical older brother. he's far from perfect though and just has spent so much of his life trying so much harder. not goofing off, not playing around. he took things seriously. as a result, he's seen somewhat as a bit of a buzzkill due to how stern, strict, and serious he is. he takes his duties very seriously and is very organized and informed. as the eldest one, he's always had more of a grip on reality and what is expected of him. due to all this pressure though, he often feels he has to be this way and doesn't seem very open with just letting things go, relaxing, and well, being honest about himself. it's a huge reason as to why he is closeted.

he was the eldest out of the three boys and therefore felt the pressure from their parents a lot sooner than the other two. while his parents weren't necessarily abusive or bad people, they had high expectations for all their kids and didn't seem to understand what kind of situation that would put them in. Their mother would often refer to the things they were serious about as 'games,' such as when Cas went to human school in elementary. despite feeling somewhat pressured, he has always loved his parents and still does.
He's very protective over his brothers, even if he often nags them for their behavior. he'd pretty much do anything for them, even if it means getting himself in trouble. he's often having to bail the two of them out of trouble as well.
he's in the student council and is one of the two presidents. while he doesn't actively participate in any of the sports, he's actually quite good at various ones, especially close range.

he's skilled in a lot of things, such as flying, runes, fire manipulation, etc. though, he's not as great at runes or flying as his brothers, he is the most knowledgeable of the two and is a very quick thinker and very innovative. out of the two, he's more of the leading type and has been all his life.
he's a gargoyle! much like all gargoyles, he is very heavy as he is made out of stone and has grey skin and wings. he seems more skilled in magic than his siblings, as well as combat, which is a given, as he has had more years of experience than them and didn't spend all his time goofing off like those two did.

argento atticus— 16 — he/him — bisexual — male
his first name argento means silver and his last name means 'from attica'. both are latin. he's always found his name a bit weird and never really liked that his initials were A, as he often got made fun of for being a 'double A battery'. He prefers to go by the name Gen, as it's easier and resembles the alcohol 'gin' so it sounds cooler. unlike his brother who is a closeted homosexual, or his very straight other brother, he's very open about his sexuality and has likely had the most dating experience out of the three of them despite being the youngest. This is also because he happens to be more carefree and more aware of other people's feelings.
5'7" — 443 lbs— black hair — green/black eyes
the male, like his brothers, have green/black eyes and grey skin, characteristics this gargoyle family seems to share. he, like his middle brother, has black hair and grey horns. though, his seem a bit longer than his brother's. he is rather slim and not as fit as his brothers, but he is still somewhat fit. he stands at around 5'7" and weighs the least out of the three of them, only weighing about 443 lbs. unlike his eldest brother, he doesn't really mind his human form, he just doesn't care for it as much as his middle brother.

si-woo choi — 17 — he/him — bisexual — male
his first name, si-woo means 'divine intervention' and his surname, choi, means 'mountains.' he doesn't mind his name and actually thinks of it as rather prestigious. he prefers his name and doesn't really have any nicknames, at least, not any he likes.
5'6" — 118— red hair — brown eyes
the male is on the shorter side in his human form, standing around 5'6". He has shoulder-length long, red hair and dark brown eyes. In his human form, he's rather pale and doesn't really seem to be very fit. he's the opposite of active and athletic, having low stamina and not much strength in his human form. it seems as though he's rather weak in this form and is rather slender.
his dragon form is a lot stronger and larger. He has red scales and is about the size of an elephant, still being a bit on the smaller side due to being young.
arrogant — selfish — kind? — egotistical — optimistic
the male is a lot of things, simple not being one of them. he's a very arrogant child it seems. while he claims it's just him knowing his self-worth, it's on a whole other level. he seems to believe he's this great being that's worth everything, anything short of it isn't enough. he can be rather selfish, putting himself and his care before anyone else. If he injured? he's going to rest, not help others and bare through the pain. he's in danger? what kind of insane person would risk their life to save others when they are in danger as well? why would he risk his life for those who don't care about him in the first place? Why would he do something like that for people who would just let him sacrifice himself for their safety? People with that kind of selflessness don't make any sense to him.
even so, the male seems rather optimistic for the most part. he values self-worth, in others and himself. he seems to believe that as long as you believe it, it's true. he's amazing and nothing short of it, but so are others. If he's worth the world, who says they aren't as well? If he wouldn't settle for anything less, why should they be forced to?
while he's optimistic, he's also realistic. he doesn't believe in waiting for others to save him and believes that, rather than waiting around for a knight and shining armor, people should be strong enough or at least innovative enough to save themselves. There won't always be a knight-and-shining armor and not everything would be done for you.
Even so, he also seems rather egotistical, believing he's one of the greatest things that could happen to anyone. He has a self-inflated image of himself.

si-woo had been raised by a rather prominent dragon shifter family. as a result, they had a lot of expectations for him. expectations he often found harder and harder to meet. he soon became known as a disappointment in his family. it wasn't too bad at first, not until he met and fell in love with a human. He began to change slowly, as love would do to someone, right? si-woo had always had low self-esteem, but this boy made things five times worse. he would change himself in order to keep the guy happy, in order to make him love him. but it often wasn't enough. he wasn't enough, he wasn't even safe with this boy. it was an extremely toxic relationship and.. long story short, they broke up. It was a few years ago. Now, he seems to have completely reformed. no longer scared, hesitant, or shy. he seems to believe in himself a lot more now and is more confident in himself, even if no one else is.
he isn't really close with any of his family and never really has been. he's an only child, which has made his parent's expectations a lot more suffocating. he's only really been in one relationship and it didn't really work out. he's in drama and archery.

he's an earth dragon shifter. his family has been known to specialize in the control of plants and stuff like that and are well-known botanists and have been for many years. like many before him, he too has the ability. his is a bit unique though. he's able to create miniature earthquakes as well ( he has a unique ability that allows him to control and create seismic waves either with touch or his voice. In his human form, the most that he could do would break up some ground maybe or like, cause a tiny shake. in his dragon form, it's a lot more powerful and can cause miniature earthquakes and disrupt the ground around him, causing it to crumble and break. ) He calls his ability 'earthquake'. Using this ability often causes him headaches, dizziness, and disorientation. It's not very useful in his human form as he can lose balance, but as he can fly in his dragon form, he has the advantage of being able to fly to avoid the ground.

julien cedric corentin— 31 — he/him — sexuality — male
julien means "youthful," cedric means "bounty," and corentin means "tempest." all of them are of french origin. he often goes by the nickname of 'juli', however, he prefers his students to call him Mr. Cedric, as it's easiest to say and he doesn't want them calling him by his first name. he doesn't really have any opinion on his name, just that it's his name.
6'2 — 168 lbs— blonde — blue eyes
the male is rather tall, standing at around 6'2" and weighing around 168 lbs. He's very slender, though, that does not mean he's a twig, even if he does look like that. as a wizard, his weakest point was his strength, so he was trained from a young age to optimize the use of his muscles. so while he is slender, he does have some muscle, just not a lot to the point where he's huge. he only really keeps enough muscle mass to be useful. he has long, blonde hair that he usually keeps up and bright blue eyes. he's not usually very expressive around students, wanting to seem stern. after all, he's not there to be their friend.

he's always been rather intelligent and often excelled as a student. he's never really had any other thoughts on what he wanted to be. for him, from a young age, he had always wanted to be a teacher. he's someone who's very gentle and usually pretty laid back. however, he's the complete opposite as a teacher. he takes a rather stern approach to teaching and does hold quite a lot of expectations for his students. however, he also understands what it's like to be a student is actually rather understanding despite his stern stature. he, however, isn't really forgiving towards those who slack off in his class just because they can. his course is actually pretty simple, as long as you pay attention and do the work. he's very attentive to his students as well; if he notices someone is having trouble or their grades are dropping he'll do his best to help them in any way he can. they, of course, have to work for their grade.
when he's not teaching, the male is actually far more approachable. he's a lot more gentle one-on-one and rather passive. he still holds some expectations for others. he's often stricter when it comes to the troublemakers, especially when he knows they can do a lot more than they show.
as mentioned before, he's rather laid-back around others outside the teaching environment. he's often even sleeping in the teaching lounge. while he doesn't seem to smile much and seems rather disinterested, the male does know how to have fun, even if he often doesn't seem like he has much energy.
the male likes snow, old fashions, magic, tea, champagne, teaching, and sleeping.
he doesn't really have any students he dislikes, however, he does dislike some adults. annoying ones that don't seem to know how to grow up. he, does however, dislike overly sweet things.

he didn't come from a particularly prominent family. he grew up in a rather broken-up home, his parents having divorced when he was young. he was raised by his father, as a single-dad. he and his dad grew up rather close. but because of split custody, he would often have to stay with his mom who he really didn't like. he eventually stopped seeing her all together when he turned 18, as he always believed she wasn't someone worth his time. he got his teacher's degree at 20 and has been teaching at katamere for the past eleven years.
he has never had much luck with relationships, none of them having ever gone well even till this day. he supervises the student council.

he's a wizard. he does various magic and is especially skilled with ice and light magic. he's always excelled in magic and magic theory and often applies magic theory to his spells.
