Jules knew that this news would devastate Max and that as a very private person Max wouldn't want anyone to know that. Jules was exceptional in the way he managed this and stuck with Max even when Max was a butt about it.
You nailed it, Anita. Jules knows Max and knew exactly how he would react. He was ready to accompany him to Germany to identify the body and do whatever Max needed done.
Jules handled it well.I was very amused by his physically removing Peggy from his office. She's a nasty piece of work.
I also like how Jules manipulated Max into taking him along; he knew that Max would need him both personally as a friend and professionally.
I agree with everyone. Jules handled the situation perfectly. It also shows that Jules is more than a subordinate or co-worker, Max trusts him. I don't believe anyone else could manipulate Max the way Jules did. Lauren I agree with you; Peggy is a nasty piece of work.

Well said, Lauren😏
I agree with you all! Jules is an exceptional piece of work. Yes, he definitely knew what Max would need, how he would react and how he would need to be manipulated. He handled everything perfectly.
Even George Faulkner knew to be fearful of giving Max this message!
