I gave the book 2 stars. It was so bad, but not to the 1 star point because I liked Brian. However, I didn't like the ending, no. And I didn't like the characters, either. Well, I didn't hate Noah, and I liked Brian but I despised the others. What I most disliked about the ending is that everything suddenly became way too happy. The two haven't been really friends for three years and out of sudden they make up and just blekhhh. Doesn't deserve half the hype it's getting.

I thought the complete opposite! I loved the characters and the writing style! This is now one of my favourite contemporary books. I really want to start getting a bit more into contemporary, since I haven't been disappointed once.

Hmm, as a teen, I think it was the I'm-trying-so-hard type of book. I literally felt as if the author was trying his ultimate best to impress me, like "Look here, I wrote this because I'm so understanding and I want teens so bad" and yes, at some certain points I related. But others were so blech. And I actually kind of liked Noah's narrated parts, but his sister and her relationship with Oscar was plain boring. Her narrated chapters were tortuous to me. May I ask what you most liked about the book? Like, the story itself. Not the characters or the writing style.

It was just a really intriguing, emotional, fantastic story. And I actually really liked the ending, it just made me so happy, to finally see the twins as they were before. I found it such a simple story to follow. Often when I'm reading a book, I find my mind drifting away from the story, then having to go back and reread that page or two. I don't think I had to do that once with this book. It was just such a unique and beautiful story, I loved it!
