I’ve heard similar things about A Man Called Ove. I haven’t read it yet and have contemplated if I should.I’m currently reading Luckiest Girl Alive because I want to watch the movie. I can’t lie, I am having a hard time getting through it. I don’t know why but it’s just not that great. I’m hoping the movie is better.
This past month I read The Hotel Nantucket (loved it!!), Maybe in Another Life, Carrie Soto Is Back, After I Do, The Summer Place, and The Perfect Couple.
Carrie Soto was my least favorite TJR book.
Probably reading more Elin Hilderbrand this month and just waiting to see what comes off of hold from the library.
I read Nightingale, love hypothesis, book lovers, local woman missing, the guest list and silent patient last month! Nightfall might be one of my favorite books of all time, SO good. And listened to Shoe Dog - the story of Nike and it was incredible. Currently reading Carrie Soto and listening to Matthew mcConaughey’s book, neither are really doing it for me but getting through them 😂😂
Bishop thank you for starting the thread!! I’ve been so slow with reading recently! I’ve started Wish You Were Here and so far so good! Now that I’ve ready your comments I don’t have a desire to read the Carrie Soto book….
If you read and liked Things We Never Got Over, my friend (hi Steph!) just recommended By A Thread by the same author so I’ll be adding that to my TBR list!
Hope everyone is doing well and I LOVE that 10 months in we are still chatting on here. 💞

I desperately need suggestions on what to read and/or listen to. I’ve found audible to be quite pleasant during my bi-weekly drives back and forth from McLean for work. Here’s what I’ve read/listened to so far:
- Harry Potter 1 & 2 (listened and loved. Will finish the series this way!)
- Carrie Soto is Back: I decided I’m not a TJR fan.
- Man Called Ove: at first I didn’t think I was gonna like it and then it nearly made me cry happy/sad/cute tears
