Well I'm not sure I can really recall even half of what has happened since I last did an update but I have to say I am really enjoying this book.
It's sucking me in and making me want to keep on listening to the story (hence why I keep forgetting to update here) and so much crazy stuff has gone on.

I really like Toc's story though I feel so bad for the horrible situation he's in right now. I can't imagine how horrible the Seer is and it's always very grim when we see his ruthlessness concerning Toc and his plans for the incoming Malazans. I think Toc's story is the one I'm most sad and emotional about as it's just so horrible, and yet he's handling things better than I could hope!

Lady Envy's stay is still interesting but I find I'm not as drawn to her without the whole crew of Tool and Toc with her. I have a feeling her story is soon to pick up more though and it's still very intriguing.

Silverfox is one of my most liked and hated characters and I found it so eerie when Itkovian said that there was no warring inside of her with her personalities and that they were all in agreement as I thought Nightchill was directing things but it seems maybe not. I like her Tattersail side and don't so much like Nightchill (although the blend and battle between them is interesting!
I really enjoyed seeing the meeting with the T'lann I'mass and how they begged to be set free after they catch this Tyrant as they feel useless. I thought it was sad to see Silverfox thinking she was once more to be abandoned.

Kruppe is forever my favourite character with so so many truly wonderful lines at all times. The one about dancing like and unbroken egg on a skillet made me laugh so much. He's hilarious and I love the comedy and fun he brings.
It seems he also has been sucked into Silverfox's story and I have liked seeing them together more.

Paran's internal struggling over whether to free and acknowledge the Crippled God was good to see and I like him a lot. I liked seeing the scene where he reminisced about his sisters and his family, and I loved seeing Gruntle and Quick Ben advising him.

Grubtle's new role working for the God and leading has been great to see and he's developed a lot as a character into someone I really enjoy reading about now.

Quick Ben unleashing all 12 of his Warrens was soooo cool and I really love how much he knows and how he can kind of manipulate even Hood and other Gods. He's pretty badass!!

Itkovian's new role is great and seeing that scene where he tried to take everyone's burdens was so terrible! I don't envy him for sure!

Whiskeyjack and the scene where he had to execute all those people was also sad and I felt like he was so burdened by it. I do however really enjoy his and Korlat's relationship and I think that's some much needed love and fun for him.

On the whole I am sure there is a million other things that I've forgotten and wanted to say but I am loving this is the main thing. So many threads and this book makes sense so much more to me.

I am writing this on my phone so it's very difficult and I may have a ton of typos and mistakes so I apologise if that's the case!

Hope everyone else is enjoying this as much as me and feel free to remind me or correct me of everything I've forgotten or said!

Kruppe is indeed amazing and I get excited when I read his sections. He is so unpredictable, yet I think some of this is what he shows on the outside. Inside I think he knows he has everything under control. Kruppe is a master manipulator for sure.

I need to hold my thoughts on Silverfox for now. We all love Tattersail but she is not just Tattersail. I think all three equally make up Silverfox, and as we saw earlier in the book, Nighchill isn't always as bad as her reputation. Silverfox keeps a lot of herself and her intentions deep inside herself, which when fully realized may change our perspective of her.

I love the Bridgeburners. I would be entertained reading about them doing any mundane task.
