Lol oh my god I don't know how I feel about the new avengers movie -_- I really want them to add Hank Pym but they'll probably change the story line and make Stark invent Ultron :/

My opinion of the two
With marvel you watch that because the characters are actually (mostly) mortal with real problems, just look at tony starks arc of him being alcoholic, and that's only one of many storylines, one of my major problems with marvel (and most comics) is that because it has gone on so long that the timeline is extremely convoluted and messy, another problem is that the way they take away powers feel a little cheap and stupid (thor as an example) at least to me

DC is when you want to see power struggles and much more stronger and cooler villains, while yes marvel has it's fare share of good villains DC do have much more, another thing you watch this for is for power struggles amid a team, DC deals with things at least in my opinion in a much bigger scale focusing on big battles rather that characters

I have a similar problem with books, I can't watch the harry potter movies because of the very same reason

Hunger games Oh my fricken god don't even get me started on that complete disaster -_-But yeah thats worse theres only like a few movies that i actually like that started out as books :P

Indeed most turn out horrible, so far there's only 2 movies that came from books that I liked

Errrr okay the hobbit was good but they just got sooo muhc wrong with the hunger games :P I loved the fault in our stars though :)

Have not read of watch fault in our stars, though I know I must. Why didn't you like catching fire? the first movie I can understand but I actually really like catching fire, though I will admit I actually didn't like catching fire the book, I though it was horrible

I actually really liked the Hynger Games, for me it was one of the best adaptations I had seen and I didnt mind it too much. However I do know that there was quite a few missed important bits and bits that they RUINED *cough*mutts*cough*
and I also found TFIOS good too but it was missing some bits that I would have liked too see
just dont ask me which ones coz' I cant remember :D

Yeah okay though why don't you like catching fire? though I actually don't agree on you on the first movie, I found it well I don't know it was okay and I could actually watch it unlike harry potter, but I think it was the fact that the thing that made the first book really interesting was that you saw katness thoughts and feelings, something you can't do with a movie very well

Thing is they got the backstory all screwy. Like for example, one of the things i loved most of the book was the whole confussed romance between Peta and Katniss, right? In the book it showed that he had saved her life when they were kids (awww hes so cute ^-^) yet she never talked to him after (awww what a bitch) basically. But in the movie she was just sittin by a tree in the rain and he gave her bread :/

The Haymitch thing was another bummer for me ;/ In the book they went into his backstory, why he was so bitter and why he hated the games, they also talked about the pin and the weird connection that this girl that gave katnis her symbol was also the one friend Haymitch had in the arenas neice.

Oh and the mutants at the end!! It was suppose to symbolize all the tributes that had died but there was only like three of them :P

Most of those complaints are with the first movie though, haymitches backstory while being the best part of the book in my opinion you got to admit what would you have got rid of to replace that with? both movies are over 2 hours long so they couldn't really add more, and with the confused romance, that is hard to do in a movie, as I said one of the things that made that effective is that we saw all her thoughts, we saw her actually feelings we can't really do that in a movie

Okay fine but how hard would it have been to make a little girl sit out in the rain and Katnis get a pin from a girl in a white dress instead of her creeping around the black market? Wow that actually sounds really weird O-o

That is a worthy complaint, as I said I don't personally really like the hunger games books

Yesterday, my friend said to my WHOLE Spanish class that I read Twilight Fanfiction *shudders* I almost died, but it started because I said to her that I read 1D fanfics, but only the ones where they r d*cks to people, or kill people.
