His suspicions are raised because it’s unusual for him to get the next mission so quickly. Did you think in this moment that he should have trusted his instincts despite the measures he took to validate Katrin’s background and story?

Just like Evan, I was suspicious that Morena would pass in is number so quickly. She had just moved onto a new life. How could she find someone in need of his help so quickly? But he did validate her story, so I put my suspicions aside.

I was the same as Robin. Definitely suspicious but then with all Evan did to verify - you sort of put that on the back burner.

Honestly? Evan has great instincts and I was always suspicious of Katrin because of that, even though I went back and forth until she revealed herself.

It was definitely a back and forth thing throughout the book.

Exactly! As much as I believed she was the fake client, there was always a possibility she wasn’t.

I agree with all of you. I knew something was wrong, but I didn't know if she was fake or afraid.
