Ok, Anna! Gather strength for the Christmas one that we're going to read next 🤗

So I started reading today and before I realised I was already 30% in so I'm kind of finished for this week 😅 it was definitely a good call not to drag it out to 4 weeks.
I definitely got caught up in the story - it's kept in a light tone and there's a lot of general silliness in it.
When it comes to Aidan and Jenna, I can't say yet that I like either of them. I feel sorry for Jenna, it must be quite sad and discouraging when you're more a therapist than a girlfriend for every one of your partners. Anyway, I hope they open up to each other and help me get to like them more 😅

Ok I just read the first part. Honestly, I was a little bored. Now I’m intrigued since he’s willing to pay 5k toward the new barn for talking help. We can move faster with this book if you want. I have time to read the 2nd half tomorrow.

Well, since it's only the two of us reading this one then why not.

Just finished the first 8…k it was honestly kind of funny that he completely insulted the farm without realizing…it’s sort of giving me contemporary Pride & Prejudice feels between his attitude and her family. I can’t believe he’s going to pay her that much to help him!

Ok I somehow finished this book fast. It’s a quick read and I’m not sure I liked it, lol. I finally pinpointed it. I think I didn’t like that it took place all in one setting and hardly any characters were introduced or I guess I should say developed. Lol, I didn’t know I was so picky!

I finished part 2 and have exactly the same opinion as you, Laurette. It's a fast read but I'm not sure I like it. Jenna is doing exactly what she said she wouldn't, but for some reason it's supposed to be right this time? I'm not buying it. And Aiden seems so plain and uninteresting - really, what good qualities does he have that Jenna is attracted to, appart from the fact that he's hot? Being the only person that can make the guy talk is not good enough reason to fall for him. Unless you're a teenager, lol.
Even though they're both taciturn, I'm not sure if I can see Mr Darcy in Aiden... I can't see Aiden being... passionate about anything or aynone.

Yeah I’m now 72% done and I’m surprised how none of the characters have had any growth so far. I’m also wondering how he’s different from the past guys other then I’m assuming at the end he loves her…I guess I thought that other then just opening up they’d enjoy a bit of back and forth. I guess after Accidentally Amy my desire for witty banter has grown!
Ok going to finish this off now…

Ok, I finished. I did like the ending and how it turned out that Jenna had it all wrong all this time. To me, that was what saved this book from being a total misunderstanding.
Still, I can't say that I liked it, so I'm glad we've dealt with it so quickly :D
Next.

I finished as well. I did enjoy that things were turned around on her and she had to take a deep look at herself and who she really was. Overall I thought it was a cute fast read but it probably won’t stick with me.
I thought it was funny that most of the time I was more curious about her cousin and “the pirate” and then realized at the end they have their own story. Might add it to my tbr but not rushing to read it.
