Hi I'm Janssen my preferred team is evermore and my favorite songs are anti-hero, august, betty, and exile
CassLover or evermore please
Paper Rings, long story short, and mastermind
Thanks for setting this up! This sounds like a lot of fun.
Also, for the letters prompt, if a letter appears twice in the prompt, does it have to appear twice in the book title and author name, or can one letter be counted twice?

anyhow, you know that tiktok sound that's like "i got three looks" and plays the three taylor songs? well, those are the teams. the albums that fit the vibes (IMO) of the topic will be the teams. this is a fun idea in theory, but difficult to execute, so bear with me please. perhaps for the new year I'll do a big complicated challenge like the jump into fantasy one that is taylor related. consider this beta.
(in case you have absolutely no idea what sound I'm talking about- https://www.tiktok.com/@louistomlinso...)
alrighty. the teams:
1. "you're my, my, my lover"
- debut
- fearless
- lover
-1989
2. "there'll be happiness after you, but there was happiness because of you too"
- speak now
- evermore
- folklore
3. "you say i did something bad, then why's it feel so good?"
- reputation
- red
- midnights (because of vigilante sh1t duh)
do these teams make sense? eh... was it harder than i thought? yes... but at least you get fun prompts idk
prompts:
team lover:
1. read a romance book
2. read a book that takes place in the spring
3. read a book with a pastel cover
4. read a book where all the letters of PAPER RINGS can be found in the title and author's name
5. make a bookish playlist and link it below (honor system, i know, but it HAS TO BE NEW. no ones you made in the past)
6. read a book set in the 80s
7. read a western (because debut)
team evermore:
1. read a book that makes you sob
2. read a historical fiction or literary fiction that's a big 'ol character study
3. read a book with an autumnal colored cover
4. read a book where all of the letters CONEY ISLAND can be found in the title and author's name
5. make a bookish pinterest board and link it (honor system, i know, but it HAS TO BE NEW. no ones you made in the past)
6. read a book that's very cottagecore (because look at that folklore album cover and tell me you don't want to live in the woods)
7. read a murder book that makes u go i know u did it
team reputation:
1. read a fantasy book that kicks butt
2. read a book where the villain is the protagonist
3. read a book with a vibrant, flashy cover
4. read a book where all the letters GETAWAY CAR can be found in the title and author's name
5. make a bookish tiktok/instagram post and link it (i will be checking dates, this needs to be new, not reused!)
6. read a book so long you could use it to whack your haters
7. read a 2022 release (because new album, new me)
bonus points (+3) if you read a book where the title is the same as the title of a taylor swift song/album name!! because that's impressive. and if you find one for getaway car, TELL ME
alright there's the stuffs. i know this is late and a mess and i am so sorry. i am all over the place lately with insane health issues and school work and i sort of dropped this plate i was balancing. super, super sorry. these types of challenges work best with lots of people, so please tell friends who you think would be interested. and yes, all books completed between 11/1 and 11/30 are fair game, even though this is posted late.
happy reading! make sure you tell me your name, preferred team, and your favorite taylor song because I'm curious. mine's probably champagne problems or style
