Other happy thought: We now have all three original Defenders in the MCU.
Doubt they'll do anything with it, but just the thought of it makes me happy.

It wasn't a bad film. I just felt it would have been a great deal better if T'Chala was in it. He should have been recasted. That's my opinion. But the cast really had great performances. I still think there was no purpose for the Riri character and her conclusion made the plot feel a little silly. I felt that the revealing of the vibranium nation of Wakanda to the world was a good enough reason of the aquatic nation of Namor which also had vibranium to want to silence or threaten the kingdom of Wakanda.
I think that there were two things that came before the plot, as far as importance;

It's good, not great, but between covid filming and dealing with the loss of Chadwick, the fact that it's not a train wreck is a small miracle and for that I will cut it a lot of slack.
I thought it was pretty good. better then some of the other stuff they put out in phase 4

It's juggling alot and I'm not sure how well it did it.
I like the ensemble feel, and appreciate a lot of the ideas it's working with, but I think it stumbles around a lot and doesn't entirely earn some emotional moments.
We can do spoilers after more people get a chance to see it.
